Re: Propellerheads Reason 11 comming soon

I'm sure a lot of oldtime Reason users is gonna love this upgrade and consider it a major one. Reason as VST has been desired and requested for a long time now. Reasons modular Rack is the very heart of Reason so having that as VST is a great thing. It'll truly be one super-plugin due to all it has ...

Propellerheads Reason 11 coming soon

Looks like Reason 11 is comming soon. The most notable new feature IMO is that you can now use Reason's Rack as a VST plugin now and not forced to use only the limited Rewire wich does not allow Audio from your DAW to go into Reason and be processed with Reason's Effects. Reason as a VST allows one ...

Congradulations on the new job Faxi! Looks like all the hard work you did on the SCOPE Platform is paying off well. SCOPE is a type of matrix/incubator for developers. Good luck!

Re: I gave up giving up scope and come back, keep the faith!

The grass always looks greener on the otherside, but when you go to the otherside or give it some seriouse thought you realize it aint all that great. Choosimg Native-Only or some other solution that does not include SCOPE DSP may look attractive at first untill all their glaring deficiencies start ...

Re: Roland's new Keytar the AX-EDGE, WOW. Impressive!

Well the sounds are sure nice! Just like the old one. And having great internal sounds is certainly a plus. Priced a little too steep imho. . Yamaha just released a low priced Keytar about a month ago, the Yamaha Sonogenic SHS 500 and it costs around $299. The good news is that it has a internal so...

Re: Acon Digital's Verberate 2 reverb

I have received a email from izotope stating they just acquired the Exponential Audio product line and its developer Michael Carnes. Michael Carnes was a top hardware reverb and effects designer for Lexicon who started up his own company to develop plugins, Exponential Audio. I personally prefer Aco...

Acon Digital's Verberate 2 reverb

If you love great sounding reverbs Acon Digital has just released something special. They upgraded Verberate to version 2 and it is truly top-notch and amazing sounding! When it comes to sounding accurate with real spaces (rooms, halls, etc) I think Verberate 2 has the highest degree of realism and ...

UPDATE Well, my computer store gave me a quote then promptly closed down to do internet sales only...Hmmm. However, my mouse was jumping all over the screen, so I bought a graphics card with 2Gig memory, only AU $55, just to see what would happen. The answer: Brilliant. I'm very happy. No more glit...

Re: Scope mastering vs iZotope Ozone 8

IMHO, Izotope makes the best Native plugins. I love ChannelStrips and Izotope are the very best at Channelstrips with their gui layout, workflow, and flexibility/many control parameters. You might can find some other Native plugins that are sold individually and not in channelstrips wich sound a bit...

Well the sounds are sure nice! Just like the old one. And having great internal sounds is certainly a plus. Priced a little too steep imho. I agree the price is a bit high. I think that is cause it has a versatile synth engine, and a lot more keys than usual, and seems to be a rare and niche produc...

Looks like another 6-Core by intel has just been released. Intel seems to have a goal of dramatic speed increase for their 6-Cores. The new i7 8086K 6-Core is running at 4 GHz. That's almost as fast as the current quads wich are 4.2 GHZ and a pretty big increase over 6-cores from a couple years ago ...

Roland's new Keytar the AX-EDGE, WOW. Impressive!

The new Roland Keytar looks amazing and sounds really nice. For those that don't know a Keytar is a cross between a Keyboard and a Guitar, it is the child of both of them. Roland are the best at Keytars with regards to looks, more keys (49 keys(, Sound (Roland usually has a built in synth engine as ...
