not completely dead, but it´s become noisy - problem of all small fans after some time. I did the cooling with a silent 12 cm fan, the A16 stands in my silent rack beneath the computer and the fan on it. It´ s a small standard fan, easy to replace.

my A16 Mk.1 is still available.
I guess now It´ s time to kill recession with a Xmas Sale ;)
- everything you buy until 21. Dec 2008 gets 10%.

I currently run a E6420 @3.2 GHz and it performs very well. lots of CPU power, stable and easy overclocking, but runs relatively cool with low power consumption.

For A/V workstations I would prefer Intel, AMD makes gread CPUs too, but the Intel chipsets / boards IMO are still much better and mor ...

I have o old / geration one pulsar system + SRB.
(4 DSP + 4 DSP)
works fine, bit It doesn´t have the ULI / low latency ASIO interface.
( In fact it does have, but delivers only 32 ms )
I like to change the main card with a scope project ( pulsar 2 / 6 DSP ) and to connect the old SRB ...

tried it, but no success.

I also tried to use the STS 3000 or 4000 now as audio recorder within scope, but this thing does not sample on my system!
But maybe I can fix this issue, new thread on STS talk for this.

Hi,

sampling with my STS (3000 or 4000) don´t works o my new platform. I did the procedure like described on the manual, I see the levels indicating the input signal, but the sampling doesn´t start, not manually not threshold triggered.
Tried 16, 24 and 32 bit. mono and stereo, no success.
Any Idea ...

FYI:

I now have built a system which overall works VERY stable:
- Asus P5B deluxe
- E6420 @3.2 GHz (with standard Vcore, boxed cooler, works fine & quiet)
- 2 x Power Color X1550 SCS passive cooled graphics ( 3 x 1600 x 1200 + Video)
- 4 GByte G.SKILL DDR2 800 / 4T
- XP professional SP 2

yes It would be cool to have a completely free routing, this is one of the very cool things in scope - I often work with many different applications and so It would be nice to have a simple workflow e.g. to record any output of everything.

another problem appeared:
somethimes ( cannot fix when ) the top menue of the routing window changes and there is strange entries:

. | CDAccess | Hardware IOs | PepBase | Software IOs

and the standard with access to Devices, Effects and so gets lost !!
Also the main control window gives a ...
