Re: 64bit Testing

All of the above systems behaves exactly the same way with clicks/pops/distorted sound when using wave drivers in Win 7 Ult 64bit. I have striped all the above systems for any additional PCIe boards (UAD2, Duende, Lynx, RME etc) without any change. I have reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit SP1 on ...

Re: 64bit Testing

Hi Warp69,

thank you for testingtime and info:

I don't seem to have those issues.

Intel i7-2600
Win 7 64bit SP1
Asus P8P67 Deluxe
8GB Ram
Nvidia 580
Areca Raid

Tested ASIO with Audition - created a 4000 sec long sine and played that back while recording the result. No issues.

I do dislike ...

Hi Warp69,

crackles are always there, recording or playback, singletrack or multitrackrecording.
I'm curious about your experiences.

Re: 64bit Testing

Just for information:

The IRQs looking much better, thanks to Garyb,
but still have crackles here, less but there are minimum 1 per hour!

Heard some people saying it depends on Sandybridge, which gives no good support to PCI Bus.
This will say that my old PCI-boards may not work with these ...

Re: win 7 64 bit pop and crackle free Tweaks

Yes SCOPE board 1 was sharing IRQ 16 with plenty others.

now I do some testings with toggled boards.
I heard from Tom, that the IRQ sharing with the second board is not so important.
So I put my Luna board wich were second to the other PCI slot,
maybe it works. If so thanks to Tom who contacted me ...

Re: win 7 64 bit pop and crackle free Tweaks

Nothing of these tweaks helps here.

we still get big big problems with SCOPE 5.1 64bit on that windows 64bit machine.

Here are still some stuttering-pops. Minimum one time per hour, most of the time there are more.

Sonic Cores support told me that I am one of 1000 where it don't work.
Its about ...

Hy hubird,

have you make automations whith the PEQ4 in your hostapplication?

Maby you could do this and tell me your results.

If you are no XTC-Mode user, or rather you have no possibility to try your
XTC-Effects with a host, there is no need to reply here.

Thank you for testing an old, non ...

Hello voidar,

my problem is that I would use the PEQ4 with my new alphatrack from frontier. This is a controller which uses the automation-parameter which were given by the PEQ4 programming.

The controlling is possible and the PEQ4 accepts all manual tuning from the alphatrack, but I can’t see ...

have you tryed to klick the left checkbox of the brown-disabled plugin?
Whith the klick in to the checkbox cubase/nuendo will reload the xtc-plugin and a checkmark in the box will appear.

For all the XTC-PlugIns you possess it can takes some time.

So if this is to complicated, there ...

Have you tryed to right click on the XTC-Plug-In, there will be a menu to choose "always on front" or something like that.
In german: "Immer im Fordergrund".

Maybe you have to try the "rightcklick" at som places on the surface of the plug-In. Mostly it is near the boarder on top of the device ...

Here I will discribe my problem:

The PEQ4 stereo was placed in the insert of my Nuendo mixer.

When I set a bell-(peak)-filter to 20 kHz with a gain of +12 dB
and make an automation for a filter-sweep down to 20 Hz
the filtercurve still rests in same position (20 kHz)!

If I moove the mouse over ...
