Re: windows 7 is out!!!!!!!

http://www.osx86project.org/

My T43 will only run Tiger and not Leopard due to video support issues, but wireless/bluetooth/USB/1440x1024/power saving all works. Suspend and resume not so much, but then I had a hard time getting that to work under Linux too. Things like Ableton and Circle soft ...

Re: Info about the release of SCOPE XITE-1 and SCOPE 5

Still, VAT in the UK has just gone down by 2.5%, so that's got to help :-)

My wishes:

Support for Novation SL devices
Support for my Mackie BabyHUI
A Perl or Python API so you could automate things in Scope

And while we're dreaming - Linux and MacOS support :-)
And a cheap Cardbus to PCI converter too!

I had a SW1000 back in '99 or so, but was having trouble driving it from my sequencer - all the things like mixing and effects were in hardware. OK piano sound though. Then I saw pictures of the Scope platform interface and was intrigued with the flexibility, both in connections and the fact you ...

And to think that somebody commented on one of the teaser photos on another synth blog a day or two ago saying "it must be a hoax, no synth has more than one LCD" :-)

Cool, keep up the good work and hope it all works out.

I didn't want to pay £600 for a magma cardbus PCI housing to use with my Thinkpad and Pulsar I. So instead I built a micro-ATX motherboard into a low-profile DVD-player style case and I'm accessing the Scope software over rdesktop over a network cable between the laptop and the Pulsar host.

Seems ...

A way to select new projects over MIDI, so you could run the card on a PC with no screen or keyboard, like the klangbox.

Linux port.

Cardbus expansion chassis, so we can use the cards with laptops and not have to pay 600 pounds for the privilege.

Negotiate for the rights to modelling algorithms ...

That sounds good. I was also thinking about maybe using pcremotecontrol with a USB midi keyboard and a USB-to-serial adapter. pcremotecontrol monitors the serial port for strings of data it recognises and then runs stuff, after you've trained it, so that might work.

So I guess the next question is ...

MIDI-selectable project configurations?

I haven't looked at SFP/Scope for a while, but I'm just building my Pulsar into a standalone box. Does anyone know if you can remotely select different projects remotely via MIDI?

For example if you wanted to change from one synth to another and you had them set up as different project ...
