My T43 will only run Tiger and not Leopard due to video support issues, but wireless/bluetooth/USB/1440x1024/power saving all works. Suspend and resume not so much, but then I had a hard time getting that to work under Linux too. Things like Ableton and Circle soft ...

I didn't want to pay £600 for a magma cardbus PCI housing to use with my Thinkpad and Pulsar I. So instead I built a micro-ATX motherboard into a low-profile DVD-player style case and I'm accessing the Scope software over rdesktop over a network cable between the laptop and the Pulsar host.

That sounds good. I was also thinking about maybe using pcremotecontrol with a USB midi keyboard and a USB-to-serial adapter. pcremotecontrol monitors the serial port for strings of data it recognises and then runs stuff, after you've trained it, so that might work.

I haven't looked at SFP/Scope for a while, but I'm just building my Pulsar into a standalone box. Does anyone know if you can remotely select different projects remotely via MIDI?
For example if you wanted to change from one synth to another and you had them set up as different project ...
