so i have been cleaning out my studio and i found some mounting side panels i had custom lasercut so i could mount my pro12 and minimax into a system1200 configuration..

sadly, i have long since sold these synths..

The panels are made of plywood and are more than sturdy enough for the job ...

Incase any one is interested, i found this on ebay..

they arent creamware produce, but they look pretty good

I have looked thru the forum and have already found the other thread with this same problem, however it didnt seem to resolve the issue, nor actually address a key question i have.

I am running 10.4.9 on a macbook pro.

is the current version of the pro-12 osx software universal? does it ...

further to this, after close to 50 days, they told me that they were unable to source the product i ordered and they refunded my money.

a bit of a warning.. i ordered these side panels from musicans gear 3 weeks ago and they havent arrived. i emailed them and they said they will be at least another 10-15 days before shipping..

they have of course processed my credit card when i ordered..

so with their 14 days shipping times ...

just to follow up.. after spending hour upon hour pulling my studio apart i concluded this ..

the mini max doesnt like getting its midi data on a midi line which has been thru a splitter (in this case the midimax thru 1x4

after much faffing about, i finally stuck the minimax directly into the back ...

I remember seeing a couple of months ago somewhere on a online music store that they had for sale the side panels so you can make a system 1200 if you have a minimax and pro12 seperately.

i cant remember the name of the kit.. anyone know?

its a tad confusing as i honestly think im trying to wraggle 2 different problems.

firstly the minimax getting stuck when too much data is sent to it and secondly that the 002 /Q might not be setup correctly.

surely tho, even as its a DSP that it should be able to handle 1/16 arpeggiator at 100bpm ...

i am having a strange issue with the minimax. when ever i sent a arpeggiator thru to the minimax it sounds like its struggling with the amount of data being sent to it. it then usually ends up locking up on a note and continously playing it.
