I have a M-Audio but due to the strong recommandation in the manual, I didnot want to risk the life of the unit.
Hi,

Just to let you know that I use the M-Audio Pedal with the Prodyssey, with no problems :)

OK, new website: www.solarmaxx.co.uk Audio samples up (only a few at the 'mo), also seem to have created a bit of a stir here: http://www.sequencer.de/blog/...

crazy :D will you sell this selfmade ARP-COPY in the future? I did seriously think about it... I may build a second and put it up on ebay, with a reserve of the actual cost of the beastie, and see what it goes for - that way, I wouldn't suffer any financial loss... It would be interesting to see if...

In a weird turn-about (for me, anyway) I've discovered that, to get true analogue sounds, you need a genuine analogue synth - obvious I know, but I've priced this thing up and it comes in at a fraction of a second hand ARP2600, which I've based it on. I think my emulation days are numbered! Well, I...

The Prodyssey has issues with the ring mod and sync cominations which ruins a potentially great instrument. Both companies are failing to respond to requests for fixes to the Prodyssey sound model or even to react at all. They takes the money and they run........silently..... I am using my Prodysse...

No, there is a problem... I've noticed this from the day I bought it too!.. Very much like the old "Bee Hive" sound you used to get from cheap string machines - a constant and nagging buzzy, hummy sort of sound! I'm using the Nord G2 Engine more these days, and the Prodyssey will probably ...

Re: Creamware split ASB and Scope to separate companies?

Not sure if this is true, but Creamware seem to have gone "insolvent" and split the scope and ASB brands to two separate companies. Sonicore take creamware. InDSP take ASB. http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com/search/label/Creamware Seeing the ASB model is from the scope system, looks like the...

I've just started to re-create the Prodyssey Editor using Reaktor 5 - I know that sounds kind of weird, but I did it for tighter integration into Logic, as the editor is now effectively an AU plug-in, with all the benefits that go with it. If I get it finished before the end of the week (off on holi...

John Foxx or Midge Ure era? i saw foxx in leeds late last year, was most excellent. midge was a bit too commercial sounding for me. *Definately* the FoxxVox years - Systems of Romance is such an underated album/CD. Some of the later stuff is ok, only made bearable by Mr. Curry's (Nee Currie's) keyb...

Re: Prodyssey Filter self-resonance response and aliasing

Was playing with Prodyssey Resonant filters and measured the frequency response for all 128 settings. Next I am going to make tables for when using the KEYB as filter modulator. This is more usable like when making "3 note chord" voices etc. "Playing the filter". Many thanks for...

This is SUPPOSED to sound like this, the Odyssey that WE used to model the Prodyssey on sounded the same!! :-? :-? Well... I'm sat here with my MkIII Oddy, and it sounds clean as a whistle... Theirs was obviously faulty! It's the ONLY thing I can find fault with... So annoying as it's a sound I use...

If you are doing all that - then please let me have multitimbral! I'm sure that if Creamware *really* put their mind to it they could make these ASB's multitimbral... NOW PLEASE!! It just seems such a waste of processing power creating 12 voices when what I really want is the equivalent of 12 seper...

Re: Has CW released Klangbox Universal Support for Intel Mac

Greets all, Just wondering if creamware has released Universal Binary drivers for these racks. I am interested in picking up a few of these possibly incase I move out from my Pro card. Since moving to the new Mac Pro things have been a bit difficult so far with regards to drivers and support from a...

Another issue is that when changing from one patch to another (for some of them) then hell breaks loose (like on the NOAH). It starts playing even if no midi key has been pressed. This means that it is hard to use live if you plan to change patches. Hi Henrik, Sounds like you've got a MIDI loop goi...

Hi Anna,

[[[Edited]]]

Have my system up and running again - Switched to Mac about 3 years ago, so I've not had the chance to use it since then. Managed to get a cheap PC for less than the cost of Nord's Modular G2 Engine (which i was considering).

Ahh... Modular Heaven : )
