Re: Motherboard ?

I run a SCOPE 3 PCI card / 25 dsp system (Pulsar1 [6 dsp] + Pulsar2 [XTC card w/ additional I/O card] [4 dsp] + Scope SRB [15 dsp]). Current motherboard is MSI P55-CD53 (MS-7586). This MB appears to be out of production and stocks are limited... but still exist. (maybe not for long?) System runs Sco...

DG965RY Install

SATA is a snap if you've done IDE. I suggest you download the DG965RY manual from Intel to better understand your other questions. I have 2 sticks of 1024MB RAM - Kingston KVR800D2N5K2/2G ... DDR2 800 Mhz. Intel docs explain the memory slots and how to install... I have mine in slot 0 of channels A ...

Stable System Upgrade - Core2Duo, Intel DG965RY, 3 Scope

I've been worried that my old system will someday crash and the new one wouldn't have 3 PCI slots... So for Christmas I very happily upgraded and thought I'd share what's working extremely well for me. This is (I think) the 4th scope system I've built up over I'm not sure how many years (7+?), so I'...

Updated the module... poor midnight quality control. Module should now Xfade L->C->R. Modulation source should be bipolar to get full range modulation. Like the standard modular Xfade if the Xfade knob position is other than center the modulation will only Xfade partway to the other side. (The modul...

Wow! Thank you so much for sharing these projects. My learning curve just flattened by an order of magnitude.

Yes... these open just fine and appear to be compatible with the SDK.

I've finally found time to spend with the (free  SDK ... and I can't figure out how to make a modular III module. For sure it's not in the documentation that came with the SDK. I think that somehow I need to subsitute the modular style for the default style module ... but it's not obvious (to...

I sent this patch to Creamware and got a quick reply... there is a bug in the restoring of the multisegment envelope settings.

The modulation matrix is not a CW product so they have no comment on that...

If you have Modular2 this is a no-brainer... Lot's of great new modules to make life MUCH easier and allow easier and more creative sound shaping. 26 new patches, each with varying numbers of presets [from 6 or so to 20 maybe]. New patches & presets are not really exotic, but show uses for many ...
