i was changing my processor to a quad core that's when i noticed that the connection to the processor on my motherboard where bend so the motherboard had to go ...

no i don't use firewire so in can turn it off

My mortherboard was broke and i got a new one the asus p5w dh deluxe
and turned of almost all unessesery devices but there was one still sharing an irq with my pulsar card

what is it for and can i turn it of without problems?

The graphic card i'm using is pci express asus 7300 gs silent
6600e conroe, 2 gb ddr2 800mhz, mb is asus p5w dh deluxe
pulsar 1 and srb 1 and scope 2
3 hard drives 1 for windows 1 for scope and vsti and 1 for samples

i'm using 3.1b drivers to avoid crashes
i recorded back into cubase(with asio ...

is there an other program is which i can record my cubase projects without pops or cracks?

or is there another way to setup scope for recording?

i get less crackles and pops but the are still some cracks and pops left

which driver is best to use in adobe audition ?

i reinstalled cubase but it didn't help has anyone got some other suggestions?

No i haven't changed (maybe something changed unintended) it but it could be an idea to reinstall cubase sx 3
Everything will have default settings or is it possible to put cubase sx 3
in default settings just by pushing a button ?

the cards got to have there own irq's the best is shared with nothing
the irq numbers do not matter.

so 21 22 33 is no problem if each cards got its own irq

check the irq's conflicts scope cards need unique irq's ( disable devices not used in device manager such as firewire internal soundcards wireless ethernetcards ) and install windows normally and and after all is intalled (scope ) unintall drivers and then install drivers 3.1b

It was a real hell but problems solved with 3.1b drivers (using scope 4.0) pc worked good for 1,5 hour and is still running normally would freeze in 30 till 45 minutes i use 3 creamware cards

Good new and bad news pc the system only works with 2 cards that have no shared IRQ
i'm testing to disable the device on IRQ 22 Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7 Family) Ultra ATA Storage Controllers - 27DF OK
Then all the irq are free used by the 3 pulsar cards

Do you think the 3.1b drivers wil work with scope 4.0?

the only midi device connected is a midi keyboard but the power was of when i get the change to test it i wil disconnect it anyway.
and run the test al over again

the only board sharing an irq is the srb so i will remove it and test again

did everything you said but the machine still freezes i wil also check the memory but i don't think that is the problem because then the machine would not only freeze when using cubase sx 3

Ok i installed windows normally and now as we speak i'm checking if it freezed
My bios was overclocked and i had to put the bios defaults back so i hope the system will run without freezes please god help me

the crashes aren't random only crashes when playing a song in cubase sx
but i will give the hardware an extra check

So is should not install windows in standard pc mode ?

And if not how do i stop the freezing of the pc in acpi mps mode?
