Hey people, just finished watching the semi Portugal x France. Yes, we lost, but I still want to say a few things: 1: Congrats France and Italy, may the best of the two win the cup, and have a great party tonight (really). It's nice to know that maybe tonight no Parisian moron will shoot at my count...

Hello again. I have tried and tried, but the hanging is there. Mind you, I'm working at 48kHz, even though I have managed to get Pro12 and Minimax running decently at 96K. Sounds good, but I think I'm just asking for trouble doing that (like garyb says, the oversampling in the filters might be too m...

Hello again, and many thanks for your assistance. I've been working on other projects (that don't hang), but today I'll get back to my problem-child... Anyway, I have checked all MIDI cables, and AFAIK there are no MIDI loops: it's DAW MIDI out > Scope MIDI in > Scope synths & Scope MIDI out > K...

I took my cards out of the DAW, and placed them on a Magmafied laptop. Now I'm using it as outboard synths, triggering notes via MIDI on Ableton (on the DAW), through the MIDI port of an RME Multiface card. My problem is with hanging notes, most particularly with the Pro-12. It seems to happen quite...

"the Portugese are a bunch of diving cheaters and don't deserve to win anything." Whatever, man. I used to be a big fan of Van Basten, and I remember when he had to quit playing the game after a very hard tackle from a forgettable defender... It's a shame that he would instruct his players...

Hello Katano,

No luck with my conceptronic... I have just one question before we close deal: does the magma card work any better than the TI? And if it doesn't, how much would you ask for the TI? I would be paying through paypal...

thanks, and all the best!

Hello, sorry if this was discussed before, but dId you find any difference in performance between the 2-slot and the 4-slot model? I have a 4-slot with 2 cards, would I be better off with a 2-slot?

Thanks,

Hi! I have been using a 4-slot Magma with 15DSP+6DSP boards. I noticed a decrease in PCI bandwidth, but apart from that, everything is working very well. I can have STS, Mixer and 3 or 4 synths open at the same time, even at higher samplerates than my desktop machine (tried Mnimax and Pro-12 @96k - ...

Hi! Thanks for the reply. My card is a Scope Professional, with the Z-link IO plate (the other one is a Scope project). I never managed to get it working @ 96k before I plugged it into the laptop, but now it does... I also did a search on the forum, but it seems that most laptops discussed are a bit...

Hello to Planet Z! I've been a Scope user for just over a year now, and I would like to thank all forum members for getting me through the initial panic and puzzlement! I have spent many hours reading through posts here, and if it wasn't for planet z, I'd have sold my creamware ages ago, and would h...
