After a full reinstall of OS and SFP 4.5 on a new motherboard/memory/CPU, Live, Reason etc. does not recognize ASIO as being available. (Both Source and Dest is in the running/default SFP project.)

I usually never turn off anything except monitors and of course if I'm going away for a couple of weeks, and I guess I'm spoiled by using Linux/UNIX as main OS for years, as I'm not used to logging out or shutting down computers. Too bad most audio stuff does not come for Linux ...

Subject says it all, maybe. Except that I'm travelling to the US soon, so I'm able to accept local US shipping as well.

I tested Cubase, Tracktion, Logic and Ableton Live. I ended up using Ableton Live, and I haven't regretted yet. If you have lots of external MIDI devices and such, they say Logic or Cubase is better, but I don't know ... Live is easy to use, and excellent on realtime pitching of samples and such.

But I don't think Wine Country offers ProOne anymore, right?

Hm ... /me wants it ...

Anybody got a SRB/Scope card with lots of DSPs and Vinco for sale for lets say 50 or 100 bucks?

Is there much difference between the Vinco DT and the full/normal Vinco S? Or am I just as well of using two Vinco DT's? (I bought the Dynatube bundle.)

(I really like this little compressor, but I don't want to spend 198 euros on a compressor right now, as I'm saving up money to buy Adern ...

I'm using Dynatube for both gitar and for synths and other stuff. The JM is wonderful, but I've also grown fond of the FT, I actually ended up using an JM with FT speakers in a project. But I also just love the Vinco DT. So I would say: Go for the bundle, like I ended up doing. :smile:

I don't own the GAM, only tried the demo version, so I've mostly tried/used the Dynatubes, and they sound great. My most important goal was to get a real Marshall sound (metal stuff), and I think it works nicely, especially after adding the Vinco DT compressor.

How good is Dynatube compared to Celco's GAM and Speaker sim? Is Vinco nice? I really only think I need Dynatube's Marshall emulator, but all three with Vinco seems to be a nice offer?

Vinco is a vintage compressor, isn't it? I guess that means it will give a warmer sound than a plain SFP ...
