Ryzen with B350 motherboard works well with PCI cards
Hello PlanetZ,
I wanted to report that (at least for me) a B350 motherboard with a Ryzen cpu (both the 1200 and 3600) has worked well with a Luna card and expansion. I've been using this steup for over a year without any problems.
(There is a second legacy PCI slot, but no testing has been done ...

Re: Windows 11
It works fine on Windows 11 for me. I am using an Asus B350 Prime motherboard with a Ryzen 3600 and the latest developer preview.
If any problems are encountered during install, install in 8.1 compatibility mode. Everything should work.

Scope 4 and 4.5 for Luna and Pulsar 1 cards
Hello PlanetZ,
I have three Luna cards with a single 2496 I/O, ADAT expansion, and one Pulsar I. One of the Luna cards has v5 and V7 and the others have licenses for 3.1 and 4.0 (at least, in the latest *.rgy files that I can find). I am still happily using the Luna and 2496 with V7 on Windows 11 ...

Scope PCI compatible micro atx motherboard
Any suggestions for a micro-atx board that will take core 2 duo or better? I'm trying to build a short depth 2U setup for live use with one Luna card + ADAT expansion.

Thanks Gary. It turns out this was a problem with integrated graphics. When I added a video card all problems went away.

Re: Anyone get x79 motherboard to work with Scope PCI cards?
I went with a motherboard known to work with 4 pro tools PCI cards instead (jetway p67 + 2600k.). Unfortunately having problems with scope software copy protection. Is this related to PCI bandwidth?

clean win7x64 scope 5 install - copy protection violations
On a new system I keep getting copy protection errors from scope PCI software. System works for a while then I get the copy protection popup and have to restart. Scope software is latest with no extra plugins. Any suggestions? This is unusable as is. (clean install. Only ableton and scope.)

Re: Power Sampler ADAT Interface.
If you mean the cable that connects the ADAT interface to the Power Sampler card I believe it is a standard 26 pin ribbon cable. You may want to check with Garyb.

True round trip latency for Scope cards - Ableton problem
How can I find the true round trip latency for the Scope card? I need to override the Ableton automatic latency adjustment with the true roundtrip value.
More info:

Thanks. This will simplify my setup.garyb wrote:sure, if the ADAT device has inputs too. you'll need to connect inputs(output fro the Scope card) and have the device slave to ADAT.

Simultaneous use of external spdif and ADAT converters
I am using an 2-channel AD and an 8 channel ad/da with Luna2 + Pulsar setup. The 2-channel AD can only send clock over SPDIF but not receive. Is there a way to 'forward' clock signal to the ADAT converter when clocking off the 2-channel A/D? Thanks

I also am still looking for Luna ADAT expansion. Please PM if you have one to sell.

Re: Distortion recording Wav source during realtime mix down
I'll try to upload a snippet of the noise. It sounds like buffer under-runs to me.garyb wrote:wav modules are ok here. could you upload a sample of the distortion? maybe it will lend a clue...
BTW, I'm using the Luna 16 channel mixer and am working at the lowest latency setting at 48khz.
