i have the same problem and i am also running service pack 4

i get a tip that it may be the driver in sfp for reading the akai format, but i don`t know how to disable this function so that i can try it
do you have any suggestions?

but the problem is that i have to use a cd for starting rebirth. the program needs it to run

so i have to find a way to solve the problem generally

i just read it but there is no answer for me cause the cd drives work fine without sfp. only when sfp is loaded nothing happens

first of all you have to disable the acpi in win 2000
after changing to standard pc you have to install all peripherie new!!!
after that you get the irq info in msinfo32.exe

first of all i must be sorry for my english but i`ll try my best

here is my problem

everytime i start sfp on my pc my cd`s don`t work. When i close the sfp everything is fine. When i open a directory on a cd an then startup sfp only that cd works, the other ones are still not ...

i`ve got the same problem..everytime i close sfp all cd`s work fine
