emenelton thanks for pointer about midi adapter, never thought of that, tho which ones out there are likley to work well with a pod pro (sound diver) pulsar set up say an older serial midi express XT or am i going the wrong route?

funny that same thing happened to me I tried pod with sound diver on another pc using sound blaster and it worked fine, must be a problem someware with midi on pulsar conflicting wqith pod and sound diver, dont know if anyone else here has had problems using sound diver, thanks anyway

Anybody use line6 pod pro here, cannot get sound diver to work with pod and pulsar keep getting cannot send data errors, did a search but didn't thro up anything, proberbly fairly simple but its got me beat

Many thanks sub human yes it worked fine, tho the driver it installed is the intel 82371 AB/EB i assume this is better than the ata intel, its a udma 100 drive

Ive tried uninstalling the win ata drivers that i landed up installing on my asus cus mobo, everytime i remove them, when i reboot windows reinstalls them. How do i get rid of them so i can check DMA

I bought a used pulsar of a guy who told me it wasn't regestered with Creamware, when i tried to ad it to my profile it turns out serial is regestered, cannot get in touch with the guy, is there any way to ad this card to my profile? I dont understand why people want win 2k as an audio platform, yeah its a little more stable than 98, but its really a server platform/grafix workstation that work with multi cpu's i do not see how pulsar is gona work any better running 2 xeons with 2 meg l2 cache, than a single 1 gig fcpga, i ...

thanks for help, so i assume i can put pulsar ll in slot 5 power sampler in 1 and if i wanted to add srb that can go in slot 2, or would it be beter to swap the sampler card with srb, think that makes it clear !

I had reply from creamware this morning and they said they changed some server settings over the weekend, its now working fine, well it is for me, forum, shop etc seem to be ok

Thanks for that Mo, I would have thought that 512 meg ram would be ample to run with pulsarll/scope ive not heard of anyone useing more ram.

This i see has been posted a few times here but i am a little confused, I am upgrading my motherboard to use pulsar ll and wish to get the best board there seem to be a few asus cusl2 boards which is the one to use with pulsar is it just the cusl2 or cusl2 C
