Re: Off The Shelf PC for Scope Cards?
Hi garyb,
I'm thinking about building a new computer to house my Pulsar II that's been in the same computer running Windows XP for many years. I've been reading the threads here trying to make sense of what I need to get. It would be great if you could post a list of the exact parts that you used ...

MIDI to CV converter with calibration data
I'd love to have a MIDI to CV converter module for Scope that would import an Expert Sleeper's Silent Way calibration file. This way, I could use my Scope Modular without loading a DAW. The details of this plaintext file are here:

Key/Value table module
Is there a module for Scope that reads in a text file of key/value pairs and does the conversion from input to output? I could use a module like this to create a quantizer specific to my analog oscillators and feed in the Silent Way calibration file so I don't have to use a DAW. I created a macro in ...

Re: Help with gates
Yes, I have Silent Way v1 & v2. In fact, I used it tonight to quantize the output of that Modular III patch to a scale before sending the signals to my Kraftzwerg oscillators. The LFO and Step LFO plugins are great for adding modulations to my setup. Today I connected 6' 3.5mm patch cables to my ...

Help with gates
I put together this toggling sample+hold patch based on a diagram I got from the Doepfer site. The three audio outs are going to the three oscillators of my MFB Kraftzwerg via Expert Sleepers ES-3. My question is, how can I make this patch more efficient with less modules by using gates instead of ...

Re: Gate SEQ output?
Is the gate out MIDI or audio? If it's MIDI, that would explain why it doesn't trigger my hardware envelope. If it's audio, then I need to figure out how I can convert the CV so that it will trigger the envelope. BTW, you don't need Silent Way to make a hybrid modular with software and hardware. You ...

Gate SEQ output?
I just got the Expert Sleepers ES-3 (ADAT in to 8 DC-coupled 3.5mm outputs) to interface with my MFB Kraftzwerg semi-modular analog synth. Of course the Silent Way software works great. NI Reaktor is wonderful in creating monster hybrids. I'm having a ton of fun modulating the Kraftzwerg with Scope ...

Re: VCA plugin
I've had the weekend to play around with Modular III + Kraftzwerg and I'm quite amazed. I didn't realize that most of the Modular III signals are sent as audio so there really is no need for Silent Way. I can send the frequency output of a Modular III pitch sequencer into the CV input of one of the ...

Re: VCA plugin
Thanks!! It works great! I've been reading the posts here regarding using Silent Way with the Scope Modular. I can't wait to see what type of hybrid modular I can make between the software and hardware. This is really fantastic!

VCA plugin
The more I play with my new MFB Kraftzwerg synth, the more I realize that I need additional EG/VCAs. It has three oscillators, but I can only use them for stacking since it only has one VCA. If I had a few more VCAs, I could create separate MIDI sequences in Live and send them to the Kraftzwerg on ...

Re: Kraftzwerg Trance
Thanks. I created a patch, then recorded the MIDI notes, then bounced it to an audio clip in Live. I had to think ahead regarding filter sweeps and stuff because once I moved on to a new patch, there was no going back. So, I would play back the MIDI part and turn the knobs in realtime to make the ...

Kraftzwerg Trance
Well, after all these years, I finally bought myself a real analog synthesizer. The first time I felt the urge to go modular, I ended up buying the Pulsar II and using Modular II/III - which I still use as my main audio interface. This time, I bought the MFB Kraftzwerg semi-modular analog monophonic ...

Re: STM 4896 in XTC-Mode WORKS!
This may be my answer to getting the Scope plug-ins working in Maschine stand-alone mode. The only issue I have is that when I load a Synth device into the Scope mixer, I don't get my MIDI routed to the device. I see the MIDI light blinking in the mixer, but not in the device. Is it possible to ...

I use the Pulsar II as my audio interface. I didn't use any Scope synths in this beat (mostly the Motif and Ableton Live), but I wanted to share it with you all anyways.YISH313z wrote:Nice south rap track.
