Tom, Do you know if it's possible to delete layers of sampled GS3 instruments to make them fit in STS quicker during load times? Sorry I keep coming up with silly ideas, but it seems as though you are the guru of Scope, and have an excellant understanding of computer audio apps. I'm still nervous ...

Speaking of what I love.Just finished sequencing 15 Emerson,Lake,& Palmer songs. That's how I practice up for the gig.Once you can play through with no mistakes, you got it. My QX-1 still works flawlessley. The scope card does all the mixing of GS3, and Scope instruments. Mr.Arkadin of PlanetZ, made ...

I'm glad that you share my ears. I use Celmos Tape Sim because it's replaced my PCM42,and PCM41.But my PCM70, can only be replaced with the MPX550.I just don't hear a replacement in Scope. Besides, too much DSP usage for something that doesn't compare seems like a waste.Where as for modulation FX ...

I know that's a good thread. I was wondering since I use an external Lexicon through sp/dif'd i/o's, it's only 1 instance of reverb at a time. I should be able to use an Alesis Q20 through ADAT i/o's, and use their excellant sounding plate algorhythim, before I purchase it I was hoping someone could ...

I'm unfamiliar with this surgical technique, and was hoping someone who is into forensics for police might be helpfull. I only wish to redo some old recordings when our groups' vocals were compared to the "Little River Band'. Our lead vocalist, bless his heart is no longer with us, and we want to do ...

I purchased Scope Professional to play GS3/Gigapulse through for the quality of their converters,ULLI, and the benifit of B2003/Minimax. Since then, my whole crew takes turns trying to get to know the platform. It has literally been on non stop for two weeks without a hiccup. I was unaware of the ...

Once again help has arrived. I purchased my Scope Professional from a US distibutor, they provide no info on that particular topic. However, I have a key-tech who is currently putting together a pedal steel GS3 DVD, and he's quite capable software programmer. He will not profit from this. However he ...

I love this forum. I learn something every time someone responds to my posting. However it seems like my in the box idea will never bloom, so I will still use my trusty ol' Yamaha QX1. I've used this MIDI sequencer for 21 years! Not once has it crashed. Once it stopped working, to my dismay, I found ...

Most of my my time in the recording studios have thankfully been in mastering facilities, which seem to have been an excellant learning experience for me. The sound of expensive, analog desks has always had their place there. I recently decided to break ranks with my managment company, and go solo ...

There is a Dual fan, full length PCI card which sits beatifully next to a Scope Professional PCI. I personally don't need it because I have a custom built rack/mobo combo, which was designed with Scope in mind.My friend uses it in his rather crowded tower case.It seems as though his system has been ...

It seems to me that STS could be used in a live gig playing converted giga samples, and reloading them instanty between scenes with the aid of a solid state ram drive, i.e. gigabyte i-ram. Am I correct in assuning that STS loads samples from a hard drive? If so, the solid state drive would show up ...

Shut Up And Jam, Yes this is my view. I jumped on the bandwagon a little late, but watched Creamware since 1999. I recently had a box built that rocks my world. Knowing that PCI is on it's way out, I still bought a Scope Prof. for replcing my Hammond C3, and retired my 147 for a Pro3T. The Minimax ...
