Re: Best Windows OS for Scope 3.1/4/5/6/7?
Thank you so much for reporting this! I've been curious about how the Windows Server OS' performed. Did you notice in Windows Server 2003 if the ASIO drivers worked? That's what I would use. You're welcome. Yes, ASIO works exactly like on XP. I couldn't find any difference. *BUT* depending on the d...

Re: Best Windows OS for Scope 3.1/4/5/6/7?
Anyone ever try one of the Windows server OS? Windows Server 2003 Enterprise appears to be XP streamlined with the ability to use 32 gigs of RAM on a 32 bit OS. They aren't that expensive on that auction site....... I tried, apparently with more than 4gb wave drivers have input noise bug like x64 v...

Re: 64bit drivers and modules: what is working and what is not
Thank you all for your answers. the stability of the drivers is my primary focus in order to use the machine as a daw and communicate between programs. it seems I've to wait a bit more. then for the moment it seems simpler to use it in a dedicated 32 bit box for synths and some plugins. unfortunatel...

Scope tray icon lost when explorer crashes
What about pasting these two lines of code into Scope.exe and solve the issue with the tray icon disappearing whenever explorer crashes? const unsigned int WM_TASKBARCREATED= RegisterWindowMessage(_T("TaskbarCreated")); // in the main window message proc... LRESULT CALLBACK WindowProc(H...

Re: S|C new Website, Release of SCOPE XITE-1 D and v5.1
Very very big disappointment. It is a complete non-sense from my point of view. - The xite cut down version costs a little less than the big version did a while ago. It is not at an affordable price. 1000 eur should have been the target price. - Now the XITE big version is completely overpriced. - T...

I hope they keep the preamps in the cut-down version.
IMO the vast majority of home-studio users (like me) will want an "all in one box" single device with less extra power rather than without i/os.
Just my thoughts

Project conversions (i/o remapping)
hi all, does anybody know what happens when a project saved with a scope card is loaded in another computer with a different scope card with different i/o? I mean: suppose you save a project with a "Scope Analog Source" and you load it on a pc with a Pulsar hardware, in which the module na...

Re: Mouse Pointer Graphics Issue
extract the files at this path: ...\App\Application\Cursor Cursor.zip then edit cset.ini to show like this: [APPEARANCE] StandardCursor=0 note: I've included also the old Pulsar wait icon, which is the one I use, if you prefer the Scope SFP just swap their names. (_Wait.ani <-> Wait.ani). cheers Fede

Re: Mouse Pointer Graphics Issue
AKAIK S|C removed the option to use Scope cursors in Scope v5 :(, but you can still force old pulsar fashion cursors (as I do) this way: - Find an old Scope installation dir and look for the Cursors folder, copy that folder into the new installation folder in the same relative path/location. - Enabl...

Re: Old projects not loaded in Scope 5
Well... I did go back to 4.5, opened the project and deleted the meterbridge in the project -> saved... changed back drivers -> renamed folders again and then Yes finally it loaded in v5.
But I cannot do this every time, I hope to find a better work around.

Re: Old projects not loaded in Scope 5
Thanks guys, I've renamed the old folder and it seems to do better, It doesn't require anymore the keys except for Meterbridge... after I import the key for meterbridge it says "Nil reference on left side of '.'" and scope stops loading again. I' ve found some thread were it was said to re...

Scope boards & a16 converters delay
Hi, is it known (was ever declared?) how many delay samples are added by converters of various scope hardware?
I mean individual stages, not summed i/os.

Old projects not loaded in Scope 5 - clumsily worked around
Some old projects (v4.x) won't be loaded even after successfully re-importing the key-file for every device in the project. Is there a workaround?

It is your mixer bugged or "featured" that does provide the same level both on xlr outputs and rca, it should not!

x64: 1 month => 6 months
OSX: 6 months => ? (36?) months
guess the progression, is it arithmetic, geometric? the limit for patience which tends to zero? or probably it is some differential equation... sorry, trying to distract my attention for a moment
