Hi everybody,
I have just finished to set up my "remote controlling" of the STM2448 mixer directly from the well-known digital mixer YAMAHA 01V and I thought that maybe it could be useful to share this with you..
Actually I'm able to control (through control change messages) the STM2448 (2 Pulsar2 ...

Re: An "Anyone still using Creamware with a Mac?" thought....
Thank you very much, Mr Arkadin and Astroman..
Well, learning this..I don't think I'll gor for a G3 or a G4 machine..(I WANT to use demanding reverbs, no limits!) Maybe the best thing to do is to reinstall XP on my PC P4 and update motherboard drivers. This probably will fix all the actual issues on ...

Very interesting. I didn't know it!Shayne White wrote:.mdl files are stored in a project, .dev files are referenced.
Also, insert slots can't remember .mdl settings in presets. So, use .dev as much as possible.

An "Anyone still using Creamware with a Mac?" thought....
In these days my dear friend PC P4 3 Ghz is getting some troubles  and looking at the thread "Anyone still using Creamware with a Mac?" (thx Sodiumcycle !) I'm wondering if really it would be a good idea to buy an old g4 with os9 to run my 2 pulsarII cards+Syncplate. In fact I'm currently ...

Re: OPTIMASTER Vs TC Finalizer PLUS
you can use optimaster for the compressor, but try sonic timeworks mastering limiter at the end of your chain, this keeps the punch. You can stay in the scope environment then too.
Do you mean Sonic Timeworks "MASTERING COMPRESSOR" ? I guess yes..please let me know thx
I'm gonna download the demo ...

I really hate the gain battle in mastering!

Lasciate perdere il TC finalizer che è meglio!

Re: OPTIMASTER Vs TC Finalizer PLUS
Well, guys
thank you so much for your answers...
I think I'll keep my Optimaster and eventually I'll look for some good Maximizer, just for the end of my mastering chain..
Thanks again for your replies !!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR

OPTIMASTER Vs TC Finalizer PLUS
Hello everybody,
I actually use Optimaster as main device for my mastering chain, but I think you cannot get a real "Punch" out of it..I mean the overall volume at the end is always not so "loud", isn't it? Well I was wondering if it would be a good idea to buy a TC Finalizer PLUS (hardware), but I ...

Re: How to rename ADAT modules...is it possible in any way??
So..thanks again everybody..
Unfortunately I own 12 DSP card (Pulsar 2+Pulsar 2) so I won't run SDK..
It seems like there's no solution for renaming ADAT modules in other way...
BTW maybe I can work the same
Thanks again

Thanks, would you give some more info about SDK?stardust wrote:Then you should look into having the SDK where you can rename and recolor.
I own my two pulsar 2 cards since 2001, but I never got into SDK, what is it exactly and where can I get it? Is it easy to use? What you can do with it?
Thanks again

you can move the ADAT modules out of the screen and out of view.[/quote]
Mmmm, I know it...I already do this with the spdif and analog modules (since I customized some source and dest modules)...but It is not a solution, I'd get 32 SOURCE and DEST Modules anyway...
Thanks anyway

Re: How to rename ADAT modules...is it possible in any way??
Thanks a lot for your answers...
BTW, using "source modules" will not solve the issue completely I think...The source modules have only two outputs (correct me if I am wrong), so I'd have to use 4 "source module" units (to include the 8 outputs of an ADAT module)..Since I have 4 Adat sources in my ...

How to rename ADAT modules...is it possible in any way??
Hi all
Is it possible to rename the ADAT modules? Since they identify (in my actual setup) the inputs and outputs of more than one piece of hardware (such as MOTU 2408mkIII, MOTU 828mkII, YAMAHA 01V, PRESONUS DIGIMAX LT etc etc...) it would be very useful to have the modules labeled with their ...
