This brings up a good question- is designing your own resonant filters even possible within mod3/FleXor?

Feedback in the mixer modules triggers a recursion error message preventing the necessary connection.

you didn't understand - it's not about cracking something at all. The 'protection' simply didn't work, as the check was only performed on DSP initialization.

Ah, so that's how it works. Thanks for clearing that up. Doesn't invalidate the point though ...

On the topic of taking the demos away because they can be cracked too easily- that's a very poor reason IMO.
Normal VSTi's are being cracked all the time, yet that doesn't keep companies from providing demo versions. In fact, they're far more vulnerable to piracy than Creamware because they don't ...

Ok guys, you've convinced me that there's someone on the other end

I basically asked them if they have or are planning to release a demo version of the profit-5. I'm trying to decide between it and another *ahem* similar emulation that does have a demo available. It's kind of hard to shell ...

Has anyone emailed Creamware within the last month and actually gotten a response?

You would think they'd jump on a sales-related inquiry, but nope. Should I interpret this as an ominous sign or email them again-- this time 'Auf Deutsch'?

Nice to hear from the man himself

In my research I found the Synthi was actually released in 2 different versions- the older version had the 18db filters and the newer had the 24db. I really wanted to use an 18db, as you suggest, because many Synthi owners believe this version sounds better ...

Hi Mehdi,

I'm on the fence about your OSC and Filters..
Could you possibly add some sort of description for each of your oscillators and filters that describes what they are/do and what makes them special or unique. They have interesting names, but that doesn't tell us much..

Thanks.

Now to add Bowen's wonderful CEM OSCs and Filters...

Thanks for all your replies and recommendations. Going back to the 96khz issue, my impression is that there is definitely more going on in the higher harmonic spectrum ...

I wanted all the flexibility of a software modular synth with a sound that can compete (and in many respects surpass) my hardware modular.

After going through reaktor, vaz, tassman, and the clavia modulars I feel like I finally found a home (Mod3+Flexor and soon to add RD)...

Greetings all,

My new Scope Project Plus card arrived yesterday and I thought I would share my initial impressions. For reference, I'm running a 3ghz winXP system with 1 gig of ram.

The first thing I tried was Minimax. I was a little frustrated at first because the Scope 4 platform itself seems to ...

I know exactly the patch you mean, it's actually a preset on the G2. Indeed it is impressive.
My Scope Project is on the way, so I can't help you with a patch but I do have a suggestion.

You can download the G2 editor and the factory bank from clavia's site-- it works without a G2. Then just ...

I appreciate the replies, you've helped me decide.

Based on advice, I'm leaning towards choosing the synth+sampler pack over the mix+master and then getting better 3rd party effects. Seems like the Project card should be powerful enough for my purposes.

One more question: Exactly how many analog ...

Greetings all.
Since selling my Nord G2 I'm considering taking the Creamware plunge, but I have a few basic questions that some of you may be able to help me with.
Please excuse the newbishness of some of my questions

1) I'm primarily interested in working in the Modular III / Flexor ...
