In theory i could just put the audio out from the noah in there as well - however i want to go out via adat from the noah so i can get al the instruments recorded separately on diff...

Adat Master/slave issues

Hi Guys, Just got my noah back on track, but got the old issue of crackles with the audio via ADAT. In the past i solved this by putting scope as slave and noah as master - problem solved. However, my setup has changed since and i am now using a presonus Digimax FS as the master, and scope as slave....

Nice tune Paul, very fitting to the genre, really like the way you fitted Mr Breckers sax in there - can you divulge the secret as to how you did that? :)
Cool Tribute.

I noticed that some guitarists use this eventide as well - seems pretty top spec, but its not cheap either... about £1500!

sound e.g.s here: http://www.eventide.com/eclipse/eclipsounds.htm
sounds pretty wild!

I want one of these as well. :)

I would love to see one of those!

If not you could try and record onto 2 channels and use direct monitoring on one and use a pitch shifter in your sequencer and see is they are any better, or with less jitter? Dunno what that would be like but might be worth a try.

Cheers,

John, fantasic tunes! :)

Dunno about the first one, but the second is Dave Brubeck "unsquare dance"..

I recognised it... but had to ask shazam!

Nice tune, big bass lines and loving the xylophone type action as well! (what is that noise? scope sound or sample?, whatever it is - it floats my boat!)

Really warm beats as well,

Good job. :)

Too right! I saw him do a set at the north sea jazz festival, which included him on his EWI (electronic wind instrument, that he helped design) which was just blinding!
Anyone who can write a tune called "skunk funk" and get away with it, deserves an honoring in my book!

R.I.P. Michael Brecker

Michael had been diagnosed with MDS about 2 1/2 years ago , which then turned to Leukemia, and he passed away January 13th.

A great loss to the music community and the jazz world.

Thanks for the music.

I think Alfonso is probably right - could be RAM, try using a combination of sticks in different slots as well, and clearing the CMOS might be a good idea as well.

My 2 cents,
