I am certaintly not going to deprive myself of a ...

My words exactly.Another method would be to commit your midi channels to audio just before mixing through SFP.The only thing to keep in mind,is to let SFP mix down to stereo instead of your sequencer. You can still automate each track in your sequencer.I think there is also a way have the automation ...

The other day I tried a little experiment with SFP and cubase SX2. I had a 16 track project in SX that I copied two different times. One was mixed in SX and output to one stereo channel in 2448 mixer. The other project I ran each track to a separate channel in SFP. I could then quickly AB between ...

I am only having a problem with Outlook Xpress. I made several tweaks that day, only one of which said to be careful to select the right option or it would severely slow down OE. Apparently I must of chosen the wrong option because the next day I opened up my email and it took at least 90 seconds to ...

I bought some great microphones a few years ago by a company called studiotechniks. They were called BPM, model CR95. They were made in Germany. I was just wondering if any of you guys in Germany ,or anywhere for that matter, know anything about these mics. No one in the U.S. has heard of them. They ...

Somewhere on this forum I found some XP tweaks that I performed. One of the tweaks walked you through each step, and told you to be sure to check a particular option or your OE would be very slow.I checked the box and my OE is now very annoyingly slow. I can't seem to find the thread again, and I don ...

I saw on the projects forum where Rodos posted results of comparison tests between Ison eq and Sonalkis eq. I personally preferred EQ1,but he never says which is which.I am wondering if he ever posted which eq was EQ1 and EQ2.Anyone? Hopefully Rodos will see this post.I really would like to know.BTW ...

Does anyone know why in some instances it is very difficult to enter numerical values for some of the parameters in the 2448 mixer? Primarily in the channel eq. If you choose peak, for instance for one of the filters and you left click in the frequency window for example, the selected number does not ...

Most of the time I just use my A16U,but whenever I put the Lucid AD9624 in the setup,(connected AESEBU)I couldn't get anything to work unless I made the Lucid the master. After much frustration, I finally read somewhere in the SFP manual, that anything connected to AESEBU must be made the master clock ...

I was reading today in the manual for the STM 2448 mixer, and found something interesting. In the options page in the master panel there is something called board IDs. Apparently you can assign channels 1-12 to one dsp board and 13-24 can be assigned to a second board, provided you have more than one ...

When is it necessary to use wordclock? I use an A16U with SFP as master connected with Z-link. Also I use SX,atleast until Tripledat is released. Sometimes I also use a Lucid AD9624 connected with AESBEU. I have to make it the master when I use it. I don't know if I should use some sort of clocking ...
