I have created a new post, as was suggested, and have put all the ideas in order, both from this forum, and from Cubase SX forum, in the hope that others will benefit from it.

Please have a look at it, and perhaps add some more, or tell me where I got something wrong,

regards,

Considering all the tips I received here and in other forums, I have tried to put them all in order as many of you have suggested.
Please look at them and see if there is anything missing, or wrong, or whatever.

Much thankfulness to those that took the time to write down suggestions.

I hope for ...

Hi,

I am reformatting both of my drives (C: with 20 gs, and d: with 200 gigs) I do have image DVD's of my entire set up. But I am choosing not to use those and just start everything from scratch. (yes, i will not sleep for the next 24 hours).

I WANT to do everything as right as possible (I have ...

Hey, I have always used Cubase for just about everything audio-wise.

I use the Pulsar (most probably to my demise) only as a sound card. ALthough, for recording I use the mixer for monitoring, headphone sends, etc.
But on the whol 1 ASIO driver for the in's and 1 for the outs.

I AM however ...

Thanks stardust, for taking the time.

One question, how do you know if the 3.0 gz is working. How do you check the latency, etc, ot rather WHAT should the latency be?

Also, in describing all the things I have, I should tell you that the CPU readings both in Cubase AND on the taskmaster (Alt ...

It's really kinda weird.

I took out one of my pulsar card 1 (remember i have three)

As i expected it, it didn't make much difference.

I reinstalled again some of the music software (Cubase 2 and 3, and reason as well as Pulsar 3.1)

Nothing has really helped. I get crackles even when all I am ...

Hey,
I'm new to this forum, but not new to the Pulsar world.

I have been having a lot of pops and crackles, even when the CPU performance scale in Cubase SX 2 (and now 3) is very low. (%30 percent Aprx).

The crackles have kinda of evolved from being just a few to more and more each week or ...
