Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
Thanks Dante! I had no idea and never used the STS samplers a lot but have a lot of samples on CD's. If I were to reinstal in the 32 bit mode what will I be missing out on? I am guessing that there is a downside to either way I go or maybe a different synth for playing the samples? I remember your n...

Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
I've had a Luna, Pulsar and Pro in various boxes since 2003. I stick with Windows 7 Pro now in an old HP XW-4600. I also have a XW-4600 and I am curious if you have yours upgraded to 16 GB ram and if so (or less) do you use the ECC or the NON ECC? I bought mine used and it has 8GB ram and I believe...

Re: Recording Software used with Scope 2018
Thx for the replies. I made this thread hoping to get ahead of things and when I received the rest of what I needed to set up the computerI had some issues installing Scope 7 (that seems to be corrected though). I still have not purchased a DAW and I am going to finish getting the scope boards all s...

Re: Recording Software used with Scope 2018
I was looking at Cubase. It seems to be more demanding on the hardware specs... I don't even know if what i have would run it to it's height of performance. I am familiar with it though. I remember when Ableton came out or became more popular... I never did too much with it though. Thanks for the fe...

Re: Recording Software used with Scope 2018
I just read about Presonus Studio one (Artist) and now asking if anyone has run this or any of the Studio One versions side by side with Scope and of course how did it do and are you happy with it. If so what is the speed and specs of your computer. I read what the minimum is but of course Scope is ...

Recording Software used with Scope 2018
I am a long time user. When Creamware came to my town Portland Or. they showed us the Tripledat isa card and all the great things it did. I was excited and bought it, I then made a new computer and so on.. ended up deep in the pulasr cards, Scope with ultra16 and lots of cool stuff. Ok.. so here it ...

Thanks, I did not realize the name as well. for some reason I thought Room Simulator was still in the continued versions. I thank you and appreciate the nice gesture, I will add it in and use it well.Mike San wrote:From version 3.06/3.06b

Re: Looking to upgrade PC system - want to keep PCI cards
Because I use tripedat plugin in one system I use Windows ME. And the backup system that has a isa slot. My old 3 foot tower with the Supermicro mb with ultra scsi runs ME as well. I know that it is nothing to brag about when people are busy spending money and all. I would like to take one of my ext...

Re: searching for tripledat driver
Could someone possibly remember which version still had the "one" reverb plugin that was later removed?? I am pretty sure I have it on one of the sets of disks as I bought my tripledat card when they were fresh on the market. I saw the demonstration at a music store that was packed and I e...

Re: Noah EX essentials for installing and interfacing
it's standalone. just be sure that you do NOT upgrade the unit's os without having a keyfile backup first! Ok so I finally found a good working copy of the pc version of the Noah remote 1.1 software. Upon install it asks me to plug in the Noah Module via usb before it installs the driver. Do I need...

it's standalone. just be sure that you do NOT upgrade the unit's os without having a keyfile backup first! ok, do you mean the 1.4.23 or is there a way to see what the current os is? I just went through fixing a Korg Wavestation sr that someone had lost the ram banks and sure dont want to lose what...

Re: Noah EX essentials for installing and interfacing
plugins that are not already registered to your Noah are unavailable to you. this is because S|C is not Creamware and doesn't have everything that Creamware had produced, including keygens. sure, you can install the Noah software on your lappy. Scope is not required. I think I will try that Gary, I...

Re: Noah EX essentials for installing and interfacing
that wiki post is incorrect. it is not possible to get new keys. it MIGHT be possible to get a replacement keyfile from S|C. the "nokeys" oxe just installs without the need for keys, since the original oxe files used to install the key as well as the device. a key is still required to use...

if you want to be really careful, you can make a copy of your sfp(or scope) folder and put it on the desktop. that way, if something goes wrong, you can start over. if you have personal data that could be lost, like projects or extra devices, the crucial folders are devices, presets, projects, app/...
