Win10 - I'm using 'Godmode' to turn off ALL redundant background crap. No updates. No background updates.
I don't even have a START button.
I only hook up internet to update some DAW software and/or a few VST's, but otherwise, Win10 runs great on one 5-year old desktop and one 10 year old laptop.

Open Scope first then open Samplitude.

Nice to hear the lushness of Scope synths compared to all those VSTs out there!

I like mixing and mastering through Scope in to Sequoia.

Samplitude handles sysex ok.
Not sure about patterns though.
It also handles any other controller data that is not ‘standard’, like #56

This is a great deal for a great DAW.
Been using Samplitude (and Sequoia) for over 20 years now.

I don't know if you like Apple computers... ;)
But a MacMini would be another option for a zero noise 1U solution.

I know Xite runs on Win10, but ADK apparently doesn’t know that.
I’ve thought about swapping out the host drive, so we’ll see.
I’d like more RAM for the ROMplers like Kontakt, which I use for various libraries.
Win10 (stripped down to nothing using Godmode with all the apps, cloud, etc. turned off ...

Looks like my nearly 10-year old ADK / Win7 laptop is starting to show it's age with really slow bootup, etc.

MIDI is still awesome and for the most part totally underutilized.

Works great with iPad/iOS for modulation.
Never made time to try it with Scope.

I put it on the head of my MIDI guitar.
