hey guys....i have been recently tryig to get nice pad sounds out of mod2 with moderate succes, (using defex's saw 16 as a starting point...thanx m8).What i really want to know though is how to go about building a patch that resembles the magnificent pads of hardware synths like virus or korg's ...

i thought as much...thanx....back to the pulsar mode i guess

i have been trying out the xtc mode of my pulsar 2...v3.01 with logic audio platinum v4.8. So far, when i try to record midi to audio i get clicks when recording with xtc/ effects and/or with synths as soon as i arm the recoring channels...how do i get around this one...without going to pulsar mode ...

as far as the slots go...the pulsar manual says not to use the first or the last one (something to do with defaults, i am too lazy to go reas it now), so don't do it...same irqs, they say, are allowed though in most cases though.

The solution to the crackling was the 2.04 upgrade from 2.01...finally clean sounds coming out of sample players...but not the sts4000...every attempt at loading it causes the "problem" message to pop up saying ...can't find dsp file HardDrive record dll, please check installation!... This is another problem that has been irrtating me..It seems I cannot succsfully save any projects which contain an orbitone impressor module in it. Or better, once i save the project i am unable to ever open it again...i have saved, but useless projects at this point. I have not really spent time ...

i ahve been using the sts 4000 sampler a lot these days...mainly for drum kits...but there is one question I have...why is it that i am unable to drag some of the .wav files i have into the sampler?...i know files i have are good..they look and sound fine when played through other software ...
