hubird - thanks for the suggestion on Brainworx - whether or not their stuff will do this particular task, it would be nice to have a Mid/Side plugin so I don't have to patch everything together in the not-so-quick bar, and having a sum/difference engine is important from time to time.

DSP-based computational filtering - any ideas?

Okay, I have now tried starting a new project from scratch, using various sample rates, but most especially using 48 kHz.
I've also verified that I can't merely switch sample rates from the front of the A16 Ultra by pressing the button (all the channel LEDs light up in a pretty pattern).

Okay, this is a weird one.
I'm a big fan of VDAT, and use it all the time for the odd transcription recording from motherboard audio (cloning an iTunes song, etc.) or dumping from vinyl or cassette tape through the SCOPE inputs.
