friend of mine has a single scope 15dsp card and has a choice of 3 mobo's, after doing some searching on here it seems the p55 chipset does not have great bandwidth on the PCI bus but the H55 chipset is better performing, his choices are

How is your system performing on the Asus motherboard? PeterG is having problems with PCI overflow errors and I was wondering what PCI slot you have your card in and if you have done a masterverb test?

Just for some background, I initially had a pulsar 2 classic and a XTC board. The I/O plate became faulty so I removed the I/O plate and purchased another Pulsar 2 classic card. Hence I now have 3 cards with 6 DSP's each.

Thanks for the info astroman. I did re-seat the cards and made sure they were correctly fitted but the problem is still happening. I am upgrading my system in the next week so I might give a fresh install and new hardware a go. A reboot does fix the problem but i am concerned that my cards are ...

The odd thing is sometimes I can hear Audio .. see the screenshot where it shows no samplerate but the master 2448 meters moving and I hear the audio.

If i leave this and come back in 20 mins I will hear no audio.

My scope system has been running fine until this started happening.

Sometimes my samplerate settings window shows the following behaviour
1. My samplerate flashes on and off
2. The SPDIF red light comes on

It looks like it's trying to lock to a signal on the spdif input but there is nothing there ...

Yes jo, i can run my scope plugins when using xtc mode.

I dont get an error message when i run scope in xtc mode. When i load a plugin thats not a creamware one no audio passes through it.
