Re: BLACK FRIDAY and MORE NEWS

When I signed up (shop and beta testing) I didn’t receive any emails (so I don’t know what the password is) I can’t log in to “my account” and doing the forgot password didn’t send me an email either! Same here with Telekom email. No answer, even not in spam. Signed up again with another email-addr...

Re: Samplitude slow with 32 Float Record Mode

Update: I have new feedback from Magix support, they could indeed reproduce this Midi sync bug regarding Samplitude as MC-slave. I guess your videos from the Sam forum some time ago helped them for understanding the problem, too (sent them the link to that thread there). The developer-team has got n...

Re: Samplitude slow with 32 Float Record Mode

So Sam support solved my case :) I had to load Sam Pro X4 settings (.inz file), and all is fast now. However, I was unfortunately able to reproduce your Midi sync bug with X6, have seen your videos in Sam forum. Exactly the same here, of course this has still to be fixed. So far, when you still need...

Re: Samplitude slow with 32 Float Record Mode

Seems to be a Sam Pro X3 thing in your case, not related to Win. What is exactly the odd behaviour in your case? Maybe I could try a test with a similar setup and Pro X6 here.

Re: Samplitude slow with 32 Float Record Mode

Update: Have sent two .ini files to Magix, one created from scratch (fast) and the other "slow" one, created after switching to 32 FLT. The support (very responsive btw) could not reproduce the long time starting and laggy System Options with these files. As the slow behaviour is also with...

Re: Samplitude slow with 32 Float Record Mode

Thanks for your reply. I know about the difficulties with SamX3 and X4, there were a lot of postings in the Sam forum  However, obviously there has happened a lot under the hood meanwhile, even with the latest Update of X6 which addresses quit a lot of even older bugs. I switched to Sam with v...

Samplitude slow with 32 Float Record Mode

Hi Folks, when I choose "32 Bit (Float)" as Record Mode in the Record Options any start of Samplitude ProX 6 is extremely slow, about 2 Minutes or so. Moreover calling the System Options via Hotkey "Y" is also very slow, about 20 seconds before showing up at all. The same is with...

Re: Scope 7 Bug List

Hehe, I have used quite a similar work around with my Mutec iClock as long as I couldn't use BNC. Now quite happy to have it back, as I need all digital inputs of the Xite-1. Hopefully we will see Scope 7.1 with a fix anyway. Soon :D

Re: Scope 7 Bug List

I agree with you, the very same happened to me when Scope 7 was released. With Scope 5 no problems with syncing. Scope 7 with the very same setup instantly cuts of BNC word clock on my old PC (based on X58 chipset). That means syncing could work basically with all setups, as it has ever before. That...

Re: Scope 7 Bug List

I have asked Holger for a hot fix some time ago, too. But now I am not so convinced anymore that this is a bug at all. As I wrote in the Xite-1 PC config thread with my old PC I have not been able to use word clock via BNC at any time reliable. And I have had clicks and pops from time to time, even ...

Re: XITE-1 PC CONFIGURATION REFERENCE

Thanks, but only because of your posting regarding BNC-sync as slave. This makes me curious about the reasons and let me read a lot of postings about all the setups. PCIe connected directly to CPU, with an own unshared IRQ. Both were not possible with my old system (wish I could have known that back...

Re: XITE-1 PC CONFIGURATION REFERENCE

Hi folks, I’ve been silent for quite some years, children, company,… you know. Now back on track. First of all I have to thank Gary, valis, Jimmy, yayajohn and Bud a lot for their insights regarding a separate IRQ for the Xite-1 and the importance for the PCIe slot of being connected directly to CPU...

Re: Xite-1 and A16 Ultra expandability

Indeed. I need 32 I/O of the two A16 boxes PLUS the 16 I/0 of the Xite adat I/O So you mean simultanously? Ok, that is indeed not possible. But otherwise you can easily switch between the inputs. If you need to have the machines plugged into both A16 playing all together, just record the first set ...

Re: Xite-1 and A16 Ultra expandability

no, sorry. it doesn't work like that. i guess it's back to harrassing S|C... dammit. Cheers, Gary :D Well, I think it IS possible! Because you can switch the inputs on the Z-Link connected A16 from analog to the ADAT lightpipes (via the Sample Rate Button, shows up the mode via the LEDs, reed...
