Is Scope 5.0 Win 7 compatible?
I've forgot this - I only have a 32-bit system at present, so I felt I didn't need to upgrade yet to 5.1, but Sibelius 7 is being a pita and not recognising the ASIO SCOPE driver. I've contacted Avid about this - they have replied with the usual stuff...have you updated windows?....latest drivers ...

Re: New pdf - SDK info on Forum/collected tutorials tips et
Rough (VERY rough) release...this needs a LOT of work....I'm disappointed I couldn't spend more time on this as I was too busy.
It's in .odt format (Open Office).
It needs more posts adding, then sorting into sections, then further editing. I'm not sure about the worth of carrying on with this as ...

Re: S|C new Website, Release of SCOPE XITE-1 D and v5.1
To be honest I would use Kontakt......the STS samplers are archaic and ok only for a muck around once and a while...I'm quite tempted by that Independence Pro 3 deal with 70 GB samples for around 80 quid............
BTW Where is the f---g Mod IV manual???

Re: S|C new Website, Release of SCOPE XITE-1 D and v5.1
I understand why are guys that usually get angry.
Only some days ago I contacted S/C to can test the Beta. They told me since the 5.1 release was inminent I could buy the 5.0 update and I could get the 5.1 for free next days. I payed 198 euro, next days the offer was 159 for same thing. First blow ...

Re: S|C new Website, Release of SCOPE XITE-1 D and v5.1
I don't really see the point of this new Xite-1 D. I've had a Scope Pro card for nearly 6 years now - it's old now, so when I upgrade, it will be the full Xite-1 with 64-bit Windows etc. Scope is an expensive, niche product, but is actually very good value compared to ProTools systems etc. It's ...

Re: Multi Envelope Mixing
I'm going to get back in this stuff with my 2nd semester videos - will have to revise some of the stuff at base camp while Mr.Jimmy is going out alone where no man has been through mountainous vistas of sound (Hey, you could do the missing videos
)

Re: Modular that looks like Scope
The graphics do look good - shame it never went out of alpha - I read somewhere that the osc / filters weren't all that good - not surprising for an alpha VST in 2002. It was too ambitious - that's why they gave up, probably. It's even a very difficult problem making a modular VST 8 years later ...

Thanks for that. Great link - I'll try that out.
I think it more a problem with Sibelius than Scope, though
Cheers
