Read the tripleDAT manual, it is very well explained.

IRQ 15 is generally used for IDE controller, hence rarely available.

I would set the jumpers on the tripleDAT board in the factory default position, i.e. IO address 300 hex and IRQ 11.

Re: Question about my old Triple Dat 3.06

Some more answers:
- tripleDAT is an ISA board, so you need a rather old motherboard with ISA slots.
- tripledat 3.06b is the latest and last version - very reliable and stable.
- as far as I can see, the Compaq CR 587 is a CD-ROM, not a burner.

I still use tripleDAT. It is very fast and efficient ...

Re: Making use of the AES/EBU in

Here is a good explanation: http://www.rane.com/note149.html

Neutrik and Canare supply 110 - 75 ohm impedance transformers (XLR - BNC connectors):

Re: A16 ultra psu

The A16 ultra power supply is a simple transformer:
input: 230V AC, 50Hz, 130mA, 29.9VA
output: 12V AC, 50Hz, 1540mA, 18.5VA

made by FRIWO
model # FE4830 120A154PE

It runs pretty hot.

Re: CAN CONTROL - new plugin for Scope - need beta testers

I 'v been using cans for several decades, and built analog crossfeed devices with and without delay.
Would be much interested to compare results.
Cans: Sennheiser HD25, Beyer DT880, Koss ESP9, Sony CD3000
Speakers: Genelec 2029B + 7050, Quad ESL54

Well, a Dolby-A encoder is a multi-band level dependent COMPRESSOR, the decoder is the expander part.

Exactly the same problem with my new Dell Dimension 8400.
Applied all the hints and tweaks.
No IRQ conflict (18).

It sounds like the computer is not recording all the samples, but from time to time skipping a few.

What's the solution???
It must be a Windows XP / resource issue, since it works well ...

Drivers for recent CDR writers can be downloaded from Roxio:

(most importantly the Gri_mmc.dll driver)

TripleDAT uses the Cequadrat CDR engine, which was acquired by Roxio.

Optical S/PDIF only works on the ADAT A ports, not on B.

To avoid click, you must select "Slave" on the "Samplerate Settings" menu.

Thanks for the advice. I reinstalled 3DAT. Pray and see...

A google search revealed that TripleDAT is not the only program suffering from BC450RTL.dll freeze.
Various other programs relying on this Borland DLL show similar behaviour.

When I merge Osiris Denoiser effects using TripleDAT 3.11b and SFP 3.1c,
Borland's BC450RTL.dll (v.1.5) locks up at 99% of the merge process.

Anyone knows a fix?
