I own pulsar 2 , but seems that i don't have the 2448 (it's just isn't there when i want to choose it from mixers) and also don't have any EQ option as insert , something with activation keys maybe ?

Hi all , you may call me old fashion but i just moved to SFP 3.1a , i've been working on some major projects and didn't want to start formating and installing...

Anyway , after i learned the new system and devices , i couldn't find the EQ section at the 1632 which suppose to replace the Bigmixer ...

i'm on cable also , and CW site just sucks !
i usualy can't get anything out of there , i think it's time for them to build a mirror site somewhere else out of germany , they have users all over the world and cannot depend on one server only.

problem solved , yet it took me a while to figure it out , when i look at it now it looks so stupid....

the setup should be like that (in case someone else will need it in the future ):

- pulsar 2 card in slave mode
- alesis blackface ADAT at 44.100 khz as master on ADAT A source.
- fostex vc-8 ...

samplerate settings: pulsar at slave synced to the first ADAT and the window shows 44.100.
both of the red dots of the adats shows it's o.k.

i have a serious problem i just couldn't solve:
i'm using 2 ADAT converters to convert analogue signal into my pulsar 2.

so far i used 1 converter and it worked just fine.
today i wanted to add another converter to gain another 8 inputs , but when i'm connecting the ADAT B source into the big ...

solved the problem , it was your solution together with wrong driver....
now it's working , 'till i'll backup everything , format my harddrive and install the new 3.01

yesterday i shut my pc as usual and wtill than everything was working fine.

this morning i turned the pc on , and he couldn't find the pulsars driver (bla bla bla found new pci multimedia bla bla bla) it seems he lost the driver , i tried give him the original cd-rom from CW but he can't recognize ...

i learned somthing important about OS's this rule ususaly works for almost every OS update: never install the latest OS , always work with one generation older OS , i downloaded pulsar v.3 but haven't installed it yet due to time problems , now when i have the time for doing this , i won't.

since your ADAT is the master , pulsar will work on the same sample rate as the ADAT.

you should change the sample rate at your ADAT converter , i had the same problem and that was the solution.

i had problems dowloading it from CW site , so i downloaded it from http://www.dspdev.com.
i think your problem has nothing to do with the specific software , anyway try to download it with some kind of download manager like download accelerator.

i use black alesis ADAT and fostex VC-8 as converters.
i use them at 44.1khz with cubase 3.7 and i have no problems at all.

try to move to 44.1khz and set one of them as master and the pulsar as slave. the only problem i had with clicks solved by changing these settings (master-slave).

you probably didn't explore the whole bigmixer yet , 'cause you have the option to link two mono channels into one stereo , just click the arrows on the lowerleft side of the fader and pan one of them to left or right and there you go , you have stereo channel.

hey guys , just wanted to share with you a painful problem we all get in to :grin:sp power.

i own pulsar ii for a half of year. at this time it took me around one month to learn pulsar system to the bottom (though you always think you know all and than you got into problem you never saw before ...

how do i save the sample rate settings that everytime i turn on my pc it'll be as i set it ?

the sound is o.k now but the clicks are keeping silent the signal...
