Re: wolf audio design - shop vacation

thanks guys !

It won't be San Fran, but France though.
I'm canoeing down a river called Loire; the only river in europe, which is left in natural condition for the most part.
A good old friend, who changes his face every year .. great raw nature ..

Re: MIDI Channel Changer w/ OMNI Out

" A Reset message should never be sent automatically by any MIDI device. Rather, this should only be sent when a musician specifically tells a device to do so. " This is something I totally agree with. Wolf has an AUTO button for reset and it is very slow to engage and seems it only works...

Re: Audio Pitch 2 Midi in Modular

It should work like this: With flexor comes a pitch recognition module. Connect this via sync2async converter to the value input of the val2note module of my toolbox. Use audio2val of the ToolBox to extract velocity from the audio signal to feed the velocity input of val2note with it. Now you just n...

Re: Wolf mixer

Apparently, Ralf is aware great. and said to Wolf ups, did he ? It's two years ago I talked to both Ralf bodies .. Typical case of telephone gaming I guess ("stille post" in german) ;) that it is to SC developers to work on it. Good to know. Maybe if they find some solution for Wolf great...

Re: Wolf mixer

but it's asking for a key... It shouldn't with the latest available versions. No news on the 32Cha-Mixer front yet, sorry. I'll have some more time between the years. Basically the *.reg files can be placed anywhere as long as they are somewhere in the search path settings of scope. best, Wolfgang

Re: Wolf mixer

Hey Xite'd guys :) looks like I don't need to write anything, support is going on anyway, cooool. Thanks to all involved in helping !! I'll try to provide something asap. I asked to try the 16ChannelMixer because if this one works I may know better, what to do with the 32ChannelMixer. I needed to op...

RoomPan released - wolf audio design

RoomPan now finally released ! http://wolf-audio.com/dev/img/RoomPan_ns.jpg RoomPan tries to imitate the characteristics of moving sound sources in a room. This is realized by basic techniques like reverberation and the doppler effect, but also for example via delay based panning and psycho-accoust...

Re: Room Pan

Hey Jimmy, I was wondering if there was any possible way to direct the 16/32 Channel Mixer Series to open up other Modular shells than Modular 2. No, it is hard-coded into the mixer. But even myself couldn't do it since I don't have the mod3 shell. I guess the BC-Modular is also a variant of the mod...

Re: Room Pan

:P Well .. I wrote "as soon as I have finished the manual". It isn't, but to be honest I really didn't start with it yet beside some sreenshots. So yes, my bad .. The good news is I was forced to stop working over weekends in my usual job, so this weekend may be a good oppurtunity. I just ...

I'd guess the email processing machine is not going into weekend ;)

However in my endless wisdom my 1st attempt was also wrong (I send the scope.rgy as zip archive .. :-/ )

Re: setting midi controller assignments to mixers

Hey Judie, Mehdi already said most of the things, I'd have said as well :) Some additions though : In my opinion a pulsar2 is too small for real mixing. You could use my small 16cha mixer there, but with every new channel connected you'll need more dsp and will very soon hit the limit of your card. ...

Re: Room Pan

and the phaser in preparation Well, the other device is a kind of 9 track tape emu. Easy to do a 4 tap-delayed phaser with it as well though .. A Xite is better for this one, btw :) (let's hope soon. OOoops, I said the banned word!) :D In fact both devices mainly suffer the manual .. boring work I ...
