Has anyone checked to see if the bug still exists in SP4? I am reluctant to upgrade, but would be more motivated to if they fixed this terrible, awful bug.

I too have been looking for a note--note and a CC--CC MIDI translator in Scope. If Creamware ever releases the PD Development kit, I reckon I'll make my own.

Thanks, Micha. I have Visio already. Do you know of any stencils for the basic modules? I started creating some stencils yesterday which I'll upload when I'm done, but I feel like somebody out there must have already started on such a project.

Cheers,
Bill

Well, I've learned the basics of creating synthesizer patches now and I'm really getting into Modular. I'm getting to the point where I'm thinking up new ways to modulate modulators in my sleep, etc.

I'd like to start creating diagrams of patches I'm designing prior to creating them in Modular so ...

A few years back 24-bit WDM drivers weren't supported in Win2K. I remember the release notes from Creamware said as much. Don't know if that's changed, but I also remember reading that Win2K is not as oriented for multimedia as the old DOS-based windows versions and XP are - it's pretty much ...

I think reinstalling SFP is in order. From poking around in the registry a few weeks back, I recalled finding ASIO drivers to be DLLs that are registered under a specific key in the Windows registry. I double-checked just now, and that appears to be the case. So presumably, Logic can't see the scope ...

Hi,

I want to create a Modular patch that models the sound of a large single-headed drum with a long decay.

I have in mind, particularly, the sound of a timpani or even the kind of hand-drum that is basically just a tuned head (about 18" wide) with a very shallow shell. This kind of drum (sorry I ...

I fear a short in the breakout cable since you were shuffling cords around recently. Have you tried moving the MIDI-IN cable or the breakout cable while you send MIDI data in? Do you have access to another breakout cable to verify its not the problem? Have you eliminated the MIDI input cable as a ...

I just wanted to update this thread with my findings. Using the information from Microsoft that Royston pointed me too, I was able to eliminate my problem. Hi,

I'm missing the manuals for the Modular III (manual and reference) and the Minimax. I recently purchased both of these with a new card, but the links to the PDF's on Creamware's site are broken. I have sent them an email, but received no reply.

Does anyone know anywhere else I might download ...

I used to use BootMagic in the same exact way when I used Win98 and it worked great. Theoretically, there's no danger of one OS corrupting another because they exist on separate physical partitions which are hidden from one another.

The fact that both partitions went "bad" at the same time makes me ...

I had this problem two days ago trying to update an existing 3.1c installation. Are you trying to install over an existing directory? I had to select a totally new directory before the NEXT button would become active.

Ahhh, I see. So you are saying the devices have to be specially designed for Scope boards to take advantage of onboard memory. Do you know which devices, if any, are designed this way? I was thinking they would all default to onboard memory if available, then use system otherwise.

You are right ...

I don't think you can draw the conclusion that a particular motherboard has great PCI performance when loading MasterVerbs on a PowerPulsar board. Here's why:

I too have a PowerPulsar board now. And I too can now load over 10 MVs with no PCI overflow. In fact, I have yet to see a PCI overflow since ...
