Re: OSX - How do you think it will work?
I can only dream of a DAW setup with SC and Logic on OS X
The thought of routing options in Logic environment + Scope environment makes a little bit of wee come out.

Haven't posted for a while.
This is something I did many years ago and now has mutated into this - with help from Lenny Lee on vox and bass.

oops spoke too soon - had one hitch with ASIO2 and XTC mode with Cubase SX3.
But I think it will be sorted - disabling XTC mode anyway

Re: Returning to Scope Land
Hi, just wanted to pop back in and say thanks to you helpful bunch. Just finished building the new PC. Went with an ASUS P5K-E Wifi/AP Motherboard and a 2.4 core 2 Quad - nice ! Scope is running perfectly well - not a hitch in getting it up and running. Which is just as well because I would be torme...

Re: Returning to Scope Land
Ok - well this is what I have come up with.
Does this sound like it will work ok with a Scope Project (Pulasr II) card?
The main guts would be:
MB: INTEL DP35 DP
CPU: Core 2 QUAD Q6600
GPU: Geforce 8800GT PCI Express
RAM DDR2 2GB x2
Thanks
I'll figure out the enclosure, drives and PSU later on

Re: Returning to Scope Land
Great - thanks very much everyone.
I'm still tossing up if I will go dedicated PC or opt for an osx86 dual boot build (FrankenMac / Hackintosh).
So . . for the latter , , I'll have to sort out if the hardware is compatible with OSX
but I digress -
thanks again

Returning to Scope Land
Hi all, Long time no postage. As a Mac user, I'd pretty much given up on the Scope platform. BUT - I can't stands it no more and wish to start using it again - this time in a PC - as I'm thinking it's probably the easiest way. I know nothing about PC, IRQ, Windows Mobo voodoo. Just wondering if some...

(the mix) nothing wrong with it even, it's streight laid out. I definitely would give the drums a better sound, the snare is tame this way. Cut the stereo maker, make it dry-front with a very little small romm verb, give it pressure without making it necessaryly much louder. If less loud yet presen...

Only thing wrong with you B is you think there's something wrong with you :) WhatbassyougettinStu? agreed, this sounds pretty good.... :D You may just need a little distance to sound/music in general. there`s some point, if you run over it. Everything sucks... no matter if good or bad... Do somethi...

Thanks for all the positive comments. Gives me the kick I needed to go further with it. For those wanting to know about the guitars (fx). All tracks are heavily effected (post) in one way or another - not least of all extra digital-type distortion with loads of compression. I didn't use GAM at all t...

Ok - haven't posted for a while. There's a good reason - everything I have tried in the last few months has been total poo. This is something that I would really like to get "working" - but as it stands . . it's just total crap and has a visible smell. Green and foggy... I think some stron...

Have anybody seen the original program with David? I have not. It just seams a bit too convenient, that it starts out with bird sounds and then switches to human technical noise. Isn't that bird supposed to live in the jungle? Car alarm? It does look/sound amazing. I just don't think I really belie...
