Well, I gave up. I was getting lots of dropouts and clicks. I went out and bought a ASUS P4P-E with a 2.4p4. So far much much better. No dropouts. It's nice when things just work.

Well I installed the patch. I also tweaked:
Register: 70 HEX: 44 (PCI-Master Read Chaching > ENABLED)

I can't find this register for my KT400:
(Arbitration Mechanism Priority > Change from CPU/PCI to PCI)

I am not sure about the patch thing. It looks like some of the info is no longer available.

Does anyone have any ideas? Or should I just switch over to a P4 on a Asus P4c800 deluxe?

I switched systems at home. I picked up a GB GA-7VAXP Ultra. I am having problems with the PCI Capcity thing.
