I managed to get Creamware Scope 4.5 working in Windows Vista. (The performance is very bad, however)
Things to do:

1. Set compatability mode to Windows XP SP2 (sfp.exe)
2. Run as "Administrator" (sfp.exe)
3. Change the path from "C:/SFP45/app/bin/sfp.exe -s" to "C:\SFP45\app\bin\sfp.exe -s ...

Well, according to Creamware's reply, it shouldn't be too difficult to make SFP 4.5 Windows Vista compliant, I think. I hope they will make the effort to create a SFP 4.5 package that is Windows Vista compliant, without workarounds.
But in the meantime there's a workaround available

Scope 4.0 is able to be operated under Windows Vista ( 32 bit ).

BUT it requires a little workaround here.

After installation of the Scope drivers you won't find any audio units within the system settings under audio !
By using right-mouse click into the empty window ...

Oops, I reversed the input & output on the PowerSampler.

I own a Pulsar2 & a PowerSampler. Is it possible to use the inputs & outputs from both cards.
Uptil now I haven't been succesfull in using the inputs of both cards.

Tried the different methods to set processor affinity. None of them work. (Well, they do work, but they don't prevent the system (creamware) from crashing.

The only stable sitiuation I can create is to disable HT in the BIOS.

Does anybody know if scope 4.0 has been updated to support hyperthreading? When I use scope v3.1c and HT has been actived I get lock ups frequently.
I hope this has been solved in scope 4.0.

How can I record an external source (scope analogue source) in cubase when in XTC mode?

I don't know what to do to get the analogue source in Cubase. (It's present in my XTC project, however)

I think you're right. I always had problems with disappearing notes (notes not playing)when I synced the SB 404 to SX.
When I set the SB 404 to the same tempo as SX the results are better.

But SX can't be that bad, I hope.
