Re: stm2448 mixer eq presets messing with other plugins settings
Ok, I tried it and I can confirm that saving the preset on the channel EQ, also stores the settings of the loaded plugin inside the AUX slot. At the moment I only tried with the RMX160 inside the AUX1 slot and PSY Q on the AUX4 slot, so I think it will work for all of the of the AUX insert slots. I ...

Re: stm2448 mixer eq presets messing with other plugins settings
Ok, just to clarify if I understood right, you loaded the RMX160 as insert on the AUX1 insert slot and when you save a preset on one of the STM channels EQ, it also saves the AUX1 insert slot status by reloading the RMX160 when the EQ preset is recalled?

Re: stm2448 mixer eq presets messing with other plugins settings
Hi, I have tried to save presets on STM channel Eq, then I tried to recall it and it seems to only recall the Eq settings.
What do you mean by "rmx reverb positions"?
You mean that it also saves the Aux send level on the same channel of the Eq?

look under the "Modifier" folder, then under "Converter" there is a module called "xMod & Feedback Connector" for that purpose.

Re: ASIO4all.......except Scope Users!
Hi, I can confirm the bluescreen with GIG Performer on Windows 10 with Scope 7 driver. The best workaround in my experience is to use Reaper with Rearoute virtual ASIO driver installed on the system as it follows: Set Reaper ASIO settings with Scope as the primary driver Set Rearoute as ASIO driver ...

Re: DSP hungry (mixer-)channel
It‘s probably due to the layer for external communication per device. Each channel device needs it‘s own, while a mixer made of many channels only needs one. It depends from the connections between the mixer and other devices. I tried with a project including STM 48/96 connected to 64 ASIO channels...

Re: DSP hungry (mixer-)channel
Which mixer are you using? DSP communication errors have nothing to do with DSP load, it depends on the communication between the XITE DSP processors. I often use the optimized STM mixers and they perform quite well with many channels. I'm not sure on which mixer are you using, but following the gui...

Re: Modular 3 sync problem.
With Modular 4 there is a modular module called "VST Clock" that must be loaded inside the modular shell, then there is a VST plugin called ScopeVSTClock that must be loaded inside the DAW and it will send the clock information to the modular module. WIth modular 3 you can send midi clock ...

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
Hi guys I've just tested a few things and it's not a phase problem. It's the architecture of how mixers are built. the Ableton mixer shows the same problem. If you phase one side of a stereo channel. Scope mixers or DAW ones it shows that there is just a 180 degree correlation between Left and Righ...

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
I think my point is that 'panning' implies a stereo bus, even if the source is a mono channel/signal. I've followed this thread and it's still unclear how/where the sum is being done as a mono (master bus) chain. when the source is mono and the signal is sent to a stereo bus, if the pan is centered...

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
You can't phase cancel using direct outs, because the signal must be on same path to be subtracted, this is why it doesn't work when you are setting pan left and right, one signal is going to the left signal path and the other to the right one. Do the test as i explained in my previous post to exclu...

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
Hi, I tested it on Xite and on Scope PCI with STM 2448, it's not a DSP allocation issue (anyway on PCI it's not possible to allocate on specific DSP, but only on same DSP), it's a normal behavior of the stereo sum when pan is left and right. Try to do the same with two mono tracks, if the pan is cen...

This is very sad,
I offer my condolences to his family and I will remember Jim for his positivity and for his sense of humor, and also for the creative advice he gave me for the development of some custom scope devices that are still in my archive and that I will keep in his memory.

Re: old devices and screen sets
it's because the Big Mixer doesn't have the "keep on top" option. To avoid that problem you can simply save a screenset with the routing window closed and with the Big Mixer surface opened.

Re: old devices and screen sets
Tested with Big Mixer V2 and V1 and both are compatible with screen sets.
To save the the state of the screen you have to unlock and then lock again the corresponding screenset padlock.
Other than that, Big Mixer has some phase issues if I remember right.

Re: Always random Pops n Crackles
Are these pops existent in xite? It's a problem with the Scope driver and 64 bit OS, with my Xite-1 I had to disable virtualization on the Ryzen based system to avoid random clicks on windows 10, after that it worked fine. On the older Xeon based system it worked ok even with virtualization enabled...

Re: Always random Pops n Crackles
Yes, you can bridge them as usually, those adapters don't require any drivers, they work as regular PCI slots.

Re: Always random Pops n Crackles
I don't think it's grounding related, it's more a combination of driver vs PCI bus. I recently assembled an I5 based PC from 2010 with 3 PCI cards (Scope + 2xPulsar2), it had some crackles on 64 bits OS and also Masterverb test reached only 6 reverbs loaded. Then I tried to use PCI-e to PCI adapters...
