Re: A working PCI Express adapter has been found!
I've added some pictures to the gallery (https://imgur.com/a/CtAuWwh) showing a pulsar card fitting in a Thermaltake Black Suppressor F31 case, it's wide enough that the card doesn't stick out the side of the case. Just needs some support and some holes drilling for the connectors.

Re: A working PCI Express adapter has been found!
The extra height is something to overcome, but not a major problem in my opinion.
If you look in the video at this frame:

You can see that it doesn't stick out beyond my normal ITX case's side wall. Yes, the ADAT ports are inaccessible, but only if you're unwilling to ...

Re: 3x PCI Card PC Build Win11 LGA1851 265k i7ultra
This is huge news that someone has got PCIe-PCI adapters to work!
Please do this test:
How many basic Masterverb modules (not Masterverb Classic or Pro) can you load into an empty project before you get an error about reaching PCI capacity?
Also some photos of the card install would be great!

Delays not working, fixed with reboot
Just had a weird thing happen:
Scope was running fine, decided to add a delay somewhere.
Found that the delay effect wasn't happening. I could hear the dry signal, not the wet.
When I set dry to 0, it muted the signal.
Tried multiple delay effects, Delay LM, Delay M, Delay S, even some 3rd party ...

Tiny 2 channel mixer?
Any recommendations for a 2 channel stereo mixer?
I want a really small super basic mixer.
The "micro mixer" is still 4 channels input.
If I make one in Modular it'll have four outputs.
All I want is two stereo inputs and one stereo output.
(Why small? I'm trying to keep my routing window tidy ...

Re: MIDI input not working - fixed by reseating on header pins.
I gave the inside of the d-sub a good squirt with my air jet to clear out any dust but it didn't help.
I have, however, found a work-around!

Re: MIDI input not working - fixed by reseating on header pins.
OK, so 6 months have gone by and my MIDI inputs are not working any more.
I ordered some Caig Deoxit and treated all the connections on my cards and I/O board, but no joy.
Over the years the plastic screws that held the I/O board sandwiched to the main card have slowly been failing for me and I'm ...

Re: The end of an era
Cakewalk is my main DAW at the moment. I find it to be generally very good, but the GUI does get a little laggy on larger projects.
e.g. Opening the quantize dialogue takes a couple of seconds.

MIDI input not working - fixed by reseating on header pins.
My MIDI input had stopped working.
I gave my daughterboard a wiggle to re-seat it on the header pins.
MIDI input is working again

Feedback in Modular - recursion without delays
I'm trying to make a guitar distortion modular patch and wanted to add a feedback chain to simulate amp feedback.
When I connect the feedback it complains about recursion without delays.
