Solution found!
As i am using a soundcard with multiple IO´s,
I checked my equipment configuration once again, and did I see in the "VST-Multitrack" menue? Cubase was still using
the ASIO-MultiMediaDriver. So I changed the driver and BINGO, everything works perfecto.
Buffer size is down to 64, XTC ...

My problem right now is that CPU load goes up about 50 percent as soon as I load a CW Plugin into Cubase SX. After starting play back glitches are being audible and shortly after that System starts to hang. Buffer preload of the XTC card is at standard. Increasing Buffer-settings of the card will ...

I used to have the same problems when Cubase 5.0 was installed. But the day I installed SX my problems suddenly disapeared. Hell knows why?
On the board everything I don´t really need is deaktivated, which leaves Windows with 5 unused IRQ´s. Should be enough you would think.

Somehow Cubase just won´t save the assigned XTC Synth-Controller. Every time I open a previous saved Arrangement all the controllers like Volume, pan a.s.f have to be reassigned, which is really getting on my nerves.
