I have the same issue and really dont see the point in having to use another soundcard to use XTC mode!!!

The advise i got was to turn off SFP before starting but then: Asio Driver error etc cause there is no drivers to feed SX.

Thanks for the reply and i tried this, but then there is Asio driver error and Cubase cannot open Audio engine!

I have this probably known and rookie problem that when i open Cubase SX with my Pulsar 2 SFP 3.1c, XP, i get this message that XTC mode is not available while another Creamware app is running.

In the Plugin Info in SX the XTC modules shows but are not available in VST Instruments ...

How can it be that a soundcard that cost around 1300$, and has come with a brand new update, still not have made it 24/32 bit wave compatible under 2000/XP!!!!!!

The 3.1a version could not be found by Avid DV Express (a 30$ card can be found by Avid and have also 24/32 bit ...

Have someone an Concrete answer to this issue?

I have upgraded my semipro/homestudio studio With SFP 3.1 and are wery happy for this platform.

To make use of Cubase Sx and Avid Dv Express i must use Win 2000, this is ok for me..

But there is some critical and very! important ...

Do the SFP 3.1 suport 24/32 bith depth in 2000/Xp?

Installation notes says nothing about that it doesnt!

In Devicemanager (2000/XP) under settings for the creamware dsp board there is only possible to check out 16bith depth!!!!!!!

In XP the software i use (Samplitude/Cubase) will not communicate ...
