Hey Guys,

I too would like to use XTC mode with another I/O card (Yamaha 01x)

I tried the IO enabler program and no luck - Any other tips. Do you need a special project ? I assume you need to start Scope prior to starting Cubase.

I wonder if I could impose on you for some advice. Firstly my configuration

PC 3Ghz, WinXP Pro, Pulsar 2, Cubase SX 2.2, MOTU Midi Express (parallel port), Roland VM3100 Digital Mixer
a) Pulsar SP/DIF out -> VM3100 SP/DIF in - For Monitoring tracks in Cubase
b) Pulsar ADAT in <- VM3100 ...

Sorry this doesnt help, but by way of confirmation, I run P4T533-C,1.8Ghz 512MB,G550,HighPoint 404 Raid,Pulsar 2 & SX 1.06 and it runs like a dream. Everything is stock standard, no over clocking and I use ACPI. I have disabled onboard sound and serial ports.

Hi Guys,

I was swapped my old and noisy 350W for a proSilence 420W (19db), a Zalman CNPS 5700 D (20dd) and Pabst case fans (12db).

It made a massive difference to the level of noise not to mention my motherboard temp now never exceeds 38c

Hi Guys,

Hopefully this is not a repeat, but I havent found a suitable answer on searching.

I have a Pulsar 2 connected to a Roland VM3100 Digital Mixer via both SP/DIF and ADAT. I have Cubase/SL and use the VM3100 as the A/D for Guitar, Mics etc.

I only use XTC. I dont have any of the problems others have reported except for the remembering presets on startup, otherwise I could not be happier
