FS: 2 X Pulsar cards with breakouts
Hey hey! I have one Pulsar1 card left for sale, each with breakouts. I recently upgraded my cards to Pulsar2's as these cards came out of my working machine I have been using over the past year or so.
BOTH HAVE BEEN SOLD!

Re: Scope Pulsar cards: Using MIDI in modern programs?
Oh duh! Yes forgot this can be all done with routing within the scope software.. I routed MIDI SOURCE to SEQUENCER MIDI, and then opened FL STUDIO and the midi port is in GREEN and usable. Thanks for this writeup and to everyone else's response!!!! nothing special us required.... you need sequencer ...

Re: Scope Pulsar cards: Using MIDI in modern programs?
Scope v7, and since I just set this up, it is all the latest versions of each one, if you mean for FL STUDIO and REAPER, as well as scope v7 tho yes.

Scope Pulsar cards: Using MIDI in modern programs?
Hello! So I just built a new system for my scope pulsar cards, running windows 10 now and what not. Everything works as it should within scope. I can use all the inputs and outputs, including midi in and out. But is it not possible to use those midi ins and outs within modern DAW software, such as F...

Re: Out of DSP message, even though there is plenty?
So next was to try PULSAR SDPIF OUT to LEXICON SPDIF IN then SPDIF OUT to RME SPDIF IN.
After setting LEXICON to EXTERNAL DIGI CLOCK. RME went solid green and no pops. We off and rollin now!!!

Re: Out of DSP message, even though there is plenty?
Ok all I had to do to resolve was connect the SPDIF IN to RME SPDIF OUT..
I only had it going one way, PULSAR SDPIF OUT to RME SPDIF IN. once I connected it up, the SPDIF light on the RME is solid green now. And I dont hear any audible pops anymore!

Re: Out of DSP message, even though there is plenty?
thanks for all suggestions, will go through it all tonight and see if anything changes.
And I have brand new HOSA SPDIF cables, which arent high end but I guess not cheapie amazon ones either.
And yes I believe I have both the RME and SCOPE as master.

Re: Out of DSP message, even though there is plenty?
Its just the RCA connector one, I assume it is not optical? It is the classic/rca Yes signals within scope, I was testing it out using ProTone. Protone -> SPDIF OUT (from pulsar 2) - SPDIF IN on RME Multiface 2. And on the RME, the SPDIF LOCK light is blinking green which seems to be mean it' s all ...

Re: Out of DSP message, even though there is plenty?
For my next issue, heh, I just have the tiniest bit of low volume clicks when using SPDIF. And it only seems to be on higher octave notes (C5 and up), which I thought was weird. And it is pretty inconsistent. I have both PC's at 44.1, with the buffer on scope at 10, and the buffer on the RME multi f...

Re: Out of DSP message, even though there is plenty?
I do a similar thing, I treat the scope PC as just a sound/synth source, then I just track one idea or instrument/synth at a time to my main PC, running an RME MultiFace II. But in between that path is external rack gear if I feel the need. So since I only really do one synth at a time, or 4 or so d...

Re: Out of DSP message, even though there is plenty?
I appreciate all the suggestions on this! It actually has been working, and haven't seen the error at all in the past 2 days. Valis, what do you mean by "route in the routing window" and not a mixer. You just have everything going direct form ins to outs, or a synth going right to an outpu...

Re: Out of DSP message, even though there is plenty?
Yes I followed the instructions in the manual and am using the middle PCI slots, with the PULSAR 2 first, then the other 2 Pulsar cards following.

Re: Out of DSP message, even though there is plenty?
I definitely followed the manual closely on how to connect them all up, and I was running just two headers of the STDM for weeks with no issue. I even made another cable yesterday, this is how I have it:
But yes maybe I should try to run the Pulsar2 by itself...
