would like to add something:
if pulsar (maybe IV or V) will once offer a reasonable price/performance ratio, i will join this club here again, with some creamware cards - but no day sooner...

maybe that shows my opinion about pulsar a little better to you, mr. gary b...

no no, sorry. u got me slightly wrong. pulsar is not bad itself - it´s just far too expensive for the value it offers, and i am happy to have changed my gear.
btw, gary, i was asked about it, so...

i am in no way a 'hater' or sort of that... believe it or leave it

i thought intel would let the northwood start at 2000 mhz... but now i have seen on intel´s page a table with an 1,6 A ghz p4 next to an ordinary 1,6 ghz... and a 1,7 A ghz, and 1,8... so is this right? are there also smaller northwoods now?

have fun!

well, i guess you don´t plug the spdif right into your ears, do you? so the two sounds you compare are the sounds of the used converters - one is the creamware converter on the card, and the other one is the converter which converts the spdif signal into an analogue signal. you can be sure th...

All was well until I decided to take things a step further. well... that´s the same thing with women... 1) Currently, my background Luna project only plays audio through the analog out (I have digital monitors connected to the s/pdif out but they are not receiving any signal). i guess you kn...

@z: check your windows installation (at any doubt: install it again. first the os, second the chipset drivers (!), then the other ones in terms of system priority, e.g. vga, audio etc.) @gary: check your windows installation (at any doubt: install some bad software, games, and stuff, and make horrib...

if it´s not stored on the cw server any longer, you can try to order a 2.0 cd (i´d recommend 2.04a) at your dealer or directly at creamware.

why not? it´s a pure native software, isn´t it? it should at least be like that...
because if people buy just the sampler for 100 euro, they will be very upset, if it doesn´t run on their systems, just because they own no cw hardware...
strange...
