If the iLok driver is causing the problem and it needs to be reinstalled after the KB install anyway is it possible to uninstall the iLok driver before installing the required KB and then reinstalling it afterwards? Meaning you don't have to go through the clean boit process?

Go for A16u and use it with ZLink, it's a winner. Then you can chose the preamps that you want as these are constantly being upgraded. More ecomonical in the long term, IMHO :wink:
