Re: Scope Lite Rackmount for Live Guitar
I have no idea where Paul Tanti is these days. Never have I heard reverbs with such a long, unadulterated tail as Paul's. Absolutely world class. Glad I bought all of them in the early days.

Re: Scope Lite Rackmount for Live Guitar
Hi Dante and Astroman. I'm playing more jazz, hollow body guitar, flat wound strings and fairly low volume gigs. No need for attenuation, just trying to duplicate my Scope heaven FX for clean, live, stereo, solo guitar and voice. Not much crunch, distortion or overdrive thrown in the mix ever. I can ...

Re: Scope Lite Rackmount for Live Guitar
Thanks astroman. I have been a fan of and tester for Paul’s reverbs from the beginning and have every verb of his. Unparalleled to my ears. As I’m looking for the perfect stereo setup to sonically please me in small, low volume wine tasting room gigs and already have that sound in my studio, I ...

Scope Lite Rackmount for Live Guitar
This is a shout out, especially to any guitarists, that might use a single, Scope PCI card for live performance. I get a perfect, clean, stereo, luscious processed sound in my studio through a Marshall JMP1 preamp into my Scope Pro card thru a MultiFX S insert with Paul Tanti's 2032 reverb, Delay S ...

Re: tripleDAT conversion feature from AATranslator
It's as done as it's gonna get for now and nearly perfect. You may need to do minor tweaks on some samples having extended/stretched tails, but the audio converts, lines up correctly and allows you to breathe new life into old tripleDAT sessions without reviving an old tripleBoard or obsolete PC ...

Re: tripleDAT conversion feature from AATranslator
Great news...the latest beta I'm testing is 99.9% working beautifully!!! All the X-fades, volumes, positions and audio are converting with absolute accuracy. I'm amazed to see these old tripleDAT arg sessions flow into Reaper with such ease and precision. One old tripleDAT client of mine already ...

Re: tripleDAT conversion feature from AATranslator
It's almost done...the AATranslator update that will not only correctly lay out your .arg files in a modern DAW but will also convert the .tds/.tdm files to wav. Michael has been great to work with and has this to say:
We are gearing up for a new release of AATranslator.

tripleDAT conversion feature from AATranslator
I know a bunch of you old tripleDAT users have wished for this, as have I. Tons of old triple .arg/.tdm/.tds etc. files and no way to recover without reviving your old W98 ISA machine...which I recently did. I contacted Michael at AATranslator after needing to convert a ProTools session into Reaper ...

Shoutcast/Winamp KILLS my system
I'm having great difficulty w/SFP and Shoutcast on my 2 card system on a D865Perl/3GHz system (1Pulsar & 1 Scope Pro). As soon as I even attempt to load the DSP feature of Shoutcast into Winamp I get a total system crash into reboot mode. Even w/o Shoutcast, in Second Life, I get crackles in the ...

Ok, my NEW PERL was just about to drive me nuts after I tried in vain for a week to determine what was causing it to restart EVERY TIME instead of shutdown like I asked it to. I scoured the net to no avail. I thought perhaps my in-place repair install of XP Pro was somehow to blame, but I did NOT ...

My P4T-E just died and I'm looking at the D865PERL - thanks Gary - but I notice on ZipZoomFly there are 3 versions and I think they are out of stock on the one I want...the retail PERL-L ready for EE CPU, as opposed to a non-retail version of the L (?) and a K version, which has Gigabit Lan and is ...

I could use a bit of help from you midi pros please!

Vegas 3.0 stalls after about 20 minutes of use during playback of 16 or more tracks. Rewinding to the start, it will play a couple times and then stall at the exact came place. Eventually it won't play at all. If I reboot everything is fine for another 20-30 minutes. I never have this problem with ...
