If you want to hear how it sounds, check out the free VST plug-in DelayLama at http://www.audionerdz.com. It uses a FOF-like algorythm called VOSIM.

Finally had the chance to try them properly and I must say that they sound great! Especially the lower tuned samples. And it was a big supprise that my favorite waveform is the triangle. I find them normally very dull, but this one has a special character. It sounds more like a filtered saw on top ...
