Re: SCOPE 5.1
???? I'm using here Win7 Ultimate 32bit with 6 GB ram !!
Sorry, but you're not. Go to Start/Control Panel/System.

Re: SC a16 ultra
Yeah, here it was, not compatible with xite zlink:
Analog In/Out balanced XLR (2 channels, +4 dBu), 1 x AES/EBU interface, 2 x ADAT In/Out (16 channels in + 16 channels out), 2 x Z-Link (16 channels in + 16 channels out - not compatible with the Creamware 2496 converter ), MIDI In/Out/Thru ...

I don't remember where, but I thought I remember reading about a difference. Maybe it was incompatible with newer zlink on xite or something?

Are those PCIe x16 slots all tied together and dedicated to video only or can they be used as a regular PCIe slot? My experience has been they only work for SLI video.

Re: NOAA: last decade was warmest, global warming "undeniabl
What a coincidence that the largest floods in a decade follow the warmest decade in recorded history.
Its planet-x. We are all gonna die. Get used to it. And "recorded history" is just a blip compared to the earths entire history. We've been a lot hotter, we've been a lot cooler...we've just been ...

Re: SCOPE 5.1
Dunno but to me, the cost of my Scope cards could buy 2 or 3 computers. The computer is nothing more than a host so why would you render it inoperable as a host for any length of time at all ?
It's sorta like buying Scope, then adding a 1 gig gaming card, internet, CAD, 3D Soundblaster, dual boots ...

AFAIK, only Scope5 will run in Win7. If you are looking for a SSD, the OCZ Vertex2 is the best on the market right now. It beats the intels.

NI changed the registration process, and you can register the old products through their website and skip their application as that only works for their newer versions. I installed Komplete v2 and had to do the manual registration on the website, and then komplete v6 upgrade installed just fine over ...

Mac's are an American phenomenon. Go to Europe. They laugh at macs. Hardly anybody uses them over there, if they even know what they are. Unless you are to count an iPhone as a mac....and those are rare too.

Well I guess we now know who the pro's are on this forum and who the people are who just want the bleeding edge for the sake of having the bleeding edge. Most pro's aren't sitting on a forum whining about what they wish they had. They're busy actually working with what they have....even if its a ...

My Xite keyfile contain entries for 5.1 as well.

Re: PC noise in scope/pulsar card
Google how to change IRQ for your particular OS version. Most likely it will involve disabling ACPI, which in later OS's is responsible for IRQ assignment. With ACPI enabled, the OS makes the decisions on IRQ assignment and you can't change it. With it disabled, you can, although its also possible ...
