well, Creamware replaced the card after determining that it was, in fact, defective.
The new one installed easily, and after smashing my head against the manual for a few days, I got it working with cubase.
So everything's ok, life is good!

well it only took a week and a half to download all that stuff. I do have an authorization key for 3.01.

the luna install gets about a third of the way through then gives the message, "please insert disk #4 in floppy" ???????

I installed the version that came with it, which I believe was 2.02? Or something like that... it wasn't 3.01. I don't have a 3.0 key. I did download it a couple weeks ago.
