I have both hardware and software versions and would definately say that the hardware one is smoother. To my knowledge the hardware version is analogue only so it cannot use the same algorythms. I found that adjusting the sustain on the software version introducted artifacts whereas on the hardware ...

I got a feeling this is impossible as I can find nothing in the manual about it but is there a way to rearrange plugins in Cubase SX. Lets say you put a couple of insert effects on an audio channel in your mixer but then want to add something before it, do you have to unload and reload the existing ...

Without wanting to state the obvious, have you clicked on "Get Scope 4" and then activated your account with the code they then email you?
This will generate a new set of activation codes for you to download, which whilst looking similar to the previous 3.1c codes are actually different.

I click on the Show box to remove the tick in the Direct X midi drivers window. I've managed to get rid of all the emulated once except for the creamware ones, they keep coming back whatever. Upgrading to SFP4 and the latest version of cubasex sx2.02 hasnt helped. Its no big deal really i suppose, j...

yaeh ive found that pressing cancel and then dropping the voices down to 0, reseting the clock and raising the voices also seems to do the trick. I guess this has a similar effect as what you suggest atomic and causes the module to relocate itself.

Ignore that, i was looking at the inputs instead of outputs. Resetting did work! Thank you! No idea if it was having any effect but now I can sleep more easily

Any ideas about permenantly getting rid of those annoying emulated drivers?

Cheers, Tom

Hi, I tried the reset trick but no joy. It doesnt seem to matter which ASIO Dest I use and whether there is anything connected to it, in cubase the first 2 channels always show as 16 bit and the rest show as 24bit. Also, I have noticed that I cannot remove the Creamware Emulated Midi drivers. If I u...

Jeez you guys spend allot of time arguing about silly things. I'm just bloody glad creamware still exists! Maybe they should setup some kind of voting system for bug fix prioritising. bugs with most votes get fixed first. no it probably wouldn't work but it might keep the whiners quiet. I personally...

Has anybody heard this new VST? It's quite amazing. First native synth ive heard synth absynth first came out that made my eyes pop out of my head. Every sound it makes is awesome. The demos on the korg site (which are rather good) give you a taste.

Not sure if this is an actual problem or just showing as wrong but since upgrading to Cubase SX2 the first and second ASIO channels are showing as 16 bit and the rest 3-8 are showing as 24bit. I am using the ASIO Flt module. Any ideas whats going on and whether its an issue?

can you use SFP as a 5.1 decoder? or a 6 channel interface to powerDVD?

Im guessing your example requires an external 5.1 decoder?
