What I am dying for is a modified sample oscillator for modular where I could control the starting point of the sample by mean of a modulation input.

for example, if the modulation value is 0, the sample will start at the begining, at 50 it will start at the middle...

you can use a HPF set to 2Hz so any DC is cut. (my 2 cents)

I had the same problem with WT00.dsp : it is fixed sinced I copy a dummy from WT01.dsp but I still can't open the preset windows.

pity because it looks like a good synth I can use with my old TG33 vector controller...

Anyone tried the matrix V6 ?
It's really great but once I reopen the project, the presets don't recall the settings of the matrix.

what would be great is a sample player for the modular that can have the starting point of the sample modulated.

I am dreaming of granular synthesis !
Few years ago I used my hardware sampler (EMU ESI4000) to to do some sort of granular synthesis based on a vocal sample. I used the ability of the ESI4k to chose the start ing point of the sample depending of the velocity. then with a midi analog type sequencer ...
