Iirc Stephen Hummel mentioned the Korg Mono/Poly as an inspiration for his SparC synth.
(SparC is one of my Scope favorites and great if it gets a sequel)
That‘s a sick patch in the video

Yes, but you do that deliberately and (hopefully) with consideration.

Re: SDK 7 and Scope 5 in single environment ? (solved)
just browsed the Scope7 topic, it was on page 2
Someone played the easter bunny... Scope 7 already delivered and key sent
Construction time again
ps: installation was smooth, so far no problems, even basic VDAT seems ok.

Re: SDK 7 and Scope 5 in single environment ?
thanks for your answers :) Yes, I had found that script by Ray, too, but it‘s just avoiding the boot process, not fixing the Asio thing. Iirc that would require to (at least) change one Win registry entry, which the reinstall of V5 would do. After reading most of the Scope7 discussions, I‘ll just gi...

SDK 7 and Scope 5 in single environment ?
I‘m running Scope 5 on Win7/32, it‘s tuned quite well and running great. Installed SDK 7 on same machine and tried it... then quit and started the usual Scope 5. This triggered a complaint about „incompatible driver“, so I picked the other driver via device manager, which seemed ok. But obviously th...

Re: UVI Falcon
Good song... 8) I assume you intentionally mixed the vocals a bit up front to focus on lyric content. So the details of the instrumentation are somewhat hidden, but who cares ? After all it‘s a song. I get your ideas about „instrument design“ and the freedom gained, though. Better than to browse hun...

... I mix, (to your surprise probably) two or three basses, two ore three drums, two or three pianos, and this is particularly great when mixing lead instruments, I can go as far as mixing even more synths together with very satisfying results to my likes. I say that because it is one of the best w...

Re: Unusual behaviour.
My Scope system (3x6DSP cards) is a small tower, positioned at the bottom of a rack, 1 side opened, facing upwards.
The rack unit above it is left empty, which provides enough air flow to get rid of the cards‘ heat.
(I occasionally check temperature by hand, nothing suspicious noticed)

My keys didn‘t change from version 3 to 4, iirc version 5 was the 1st to introduce a new key scheme.

LoL, I have to be MacGuyver to get along with such limited budget :-? At least I was fortunate enough to get 2 old P-basses for $200 (non Fender, tho) and a Magma with 5 Digidesign cards for less than $100 last summer :o (mostly intended as spares, like a couple of Scope cards I keep for that purpose)

After the AKG K401, a couple of K501 I‘m now on K601 for about a year, sticking to the Austrian built models. (except the very 1st all were acquired 2nd hand and got replacement ear pads) I‘m exceptionally happy with my current headphone amplification, which originally served as a bass/guitar DI. Re...

Re: timeout waiting for acknowledge from dsp 0
I‘ve had this error numerous times on a Pulsar, and it had nothing to do with the SRam. If the error persists, check the cap located between wordclock and midi, it may have come off. (it might be faulty, but that‘s not very likely, considering it‘s relatively short time of usage) Of course that‘s ju...

that cable will not work because positive and negative polarity will cancel each other out if „mixed“ on a single tip.

Re: CUBASE MIDI WIDE SPREED PROBLEM {SOLVED} !!!!!!!!!
It‘s only bizarre at 1st glance... ;) Cubase collects incoming Midi events and adds a momentary timpstamp to each in the buffer. When the data is written, these timestamps can be changed to whatever applies. It’s more efficient to move midi data to an earlier point in time than to delay audio tracks...

Microsoft and „debloated“ is a contradiction per se, let alone the fundamentals of Win10.
